“Palazzo Caracciolo Napoli: Haut-de-gamme, espace et déco baroque”

La décoration de cet ancien monastère est superbe: moderne, baroque, couleurs choisies avec goût...et les cours invitent à s'installer pour profiter du calme des lieux. Situé dans le centre historique, donc central (proche place garibaldi, via toledo...). Idéal pour récupérer les transports. Quartier populaire, vivant et authentique. La chambre était spacieuse, la literie un bonheur pour le dos, la salle de bain confortable (avec peignoir, chaussons, ensemble thé vert...). Le buffet du petit-déjeuner était copieux, local, diversifié.

“Fantastic hotel, great staff”

The hotel was absolutely fantastic!! The staff went out of their way to help you. The area around the hotel isn't the best, but neither is Naples. If you are not ok with that then you shouldn't stay in Naples period. They have a shuttle that takes you to the main port if you are planning a day in Capri. The Main train station is about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. We walked through the streets at night and had absolutely no problems. There is also a fantastic pizzeria right down the street of the hotel at a very affordable price.

hotel très agréable, un havre de paix et de confort. Service irréprochable et personnel sympathique. Localisation pratique car pas très loin de la gare pour prendre train et métro, proche du dôme et du centre historique on peut faire beaucoup de visites à pied notamment le musée archéologique. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour dans cet hotel!

“Would go back in a minute”

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in hotels around the world from fantastic to terrible. The room was modern, clean, comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was great, And, the restaurant-- fantastic!! The only downside is that the area around the hotel wasn't the best, but we had no problems walking around. We did have a personal problem not related to the hotel, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I would stay in her again and , in fact, did, and would recommend it to everyone.

“Amazing, new hotel”

The hotel is immaculate and new inside. It's in a bit of a rough and dirty neighborhood, but I think that is pretty standard for Naples. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel if spending time in Naples. It is also a short walk to the main train station, which is really convenient. I just wouldn't make the walk at night.

Très bel hôtel dans le centre historique et proche de la gare pour aller visiter Pompéi ou le Vésuve. C'est un havre de paix au milieux de la tumultueuse ville de Naples où nous avions beaucoup de plaisir à nous retrouver le soir après avoir longtemps marché dans les sites historiques. Beaux décors (c'est un ancien palais tout juste restauré), les chambres sont très confortables et très calmes. Le restaurant est agréable : nous y prenions de copieux petits déjeuners. A partir de l'hôtel nous avons tout fait à pieds. Nous n'étions qu'à 10 mn de la gare ou du centre historique, la fameuse via dei tribunali. Un endroit que je recommande vivement et qui a beaucoup de charme.

“A great hotel to explore old Naples”

The hotel was very comfortable and recently well fitted out with helpful and friendly staff who spoke excellent English. Some reviewers had been concerned about the surrounding area, which is perhaps not so upmarket, but the hotel is very well placed for exploring the Centro Storico, which is what most visitors to Naples want to do. The most popular street in the Centro Storico is the Via Tribunale with good restaurants, pizzarias and cafes, and this is only ten minutes walk away. We did not eat or use the bar in the hotel, just because we wanted the fun of finding local places to go to eat and drink, so can't comment on these hotel facilities.

“Excellent hotel/unexpected location”

It is not unusual to accept a less-than-perfect hotel for the convenience of a location near the train station, so I was unprepared for glamour, sophistication, and high quality of service. We got that and more at this fantastic hotel. Near the harbor is so old school. This hotel is a great base camp for Campania. Next time, I'll skip boring Sorrento and just stay here. Additional to a well-appointed room, with green tea washing up stuff, the breakfast was delicious. Who doesn't want crumbled chunks of parmesan cheese with her eggs and ham.

Très bon acceuil, personnel agréable, parlant français et a l écoute de la clientèle. Petit déjeuner frais et de bonne qualité. Chambre moderne et confortable. Ambiance de l'hôtel calme et reposante. A recommander.

Hôtel parfait à tous les points de vue: un palais napolitain lieu de résidence de la famille Caracciolo puis de Murat, rénové de a à z en respectant le cadre ancien; tout est neuf, propre, beau, raffiné et sobre dans les parties "communes" comme dans les chambres. L'isolation phonique des chambres est parfaite. Le service est discret, le personnel d'une grande amabilité, le beau restaurant propose des plats délicieux, copieux et c'est très raisonnable au point de vue prix, là aussi le personnel est jeune, souriant, aimable, attentif, très professionnel. Seul petit bémol, la situation de l'hôtel à la limite du quartier historique de Spacanapoli, derrière le duomo et un peu loin des quartiers plus "clean" de Naples (Chiaia et la mer); fait pour ceux qui aiment comme nous la "vraie"Naples. Eviter de passer côté gare.
