“Honeymoon”
My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon at the Marriot Gold Resort and Spa on Marco Island, Florida. Everything was exceptional! Excellent views, plenty to do, the pool was awesome. Only thing is that the prices within the resort were a little much but if you go to other restaurants and stores outside of the resort, prices are much more reasonable. The white sandy beaches were gorgeous! The Gulf of Mexico was warm and very calm, like swimming in a bath tub. There were ton's of sea shells and other things to explore. Sunsets were beautiful. There are just too many things to list but we will definately go back again someday and would recommend this resort to anyone that is wanting a trip to paradise!
“Gulf paradise”
Beautiful hotel, clean, courteous staff are the hallmarks of the Marco IS Marriott. The grouper sandwich at Quinns was disappointing; for health conscious travelers this fried to a crisp fish sandwich was tasteless. If the weather is rainey, beware ,there is no nightlife or much else to do. The concierge service recommended the Little Bar reataurant in Goodfield; terrific
“Perfect place for families who love the beach”
Having three children aged 5-10, this was a perfect place to chill out and enjoy the beach. The tiki pool was perfect for kids to play in and there was shade for the adults. Pool snack bar & Quins were perfect for drinks for adults and the beach delivery services was very convient! Overall, nice clean beautiful place to enjoy the beach and pool without going to the caribbean.
“Great Hotel”
Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The beach is fantastic. Restaurants are good but pricey which is to be expected. Overall, very statisified. My family will return again.
“Great Holtel for the Family”
We had a great stay at the Mariott. The staff was very friendy. We had a great room and the amenities were very family friendly. My only isssue is that there is not much to do on Marco Island other than the reosrt.
“Nice place to stay. We would go back again.”
It started out badly on our first night. The rooms above us and to one side were being renovated. We could hear the floor sanders and fans going until 11pm and again at 730am. I called the front desk at bedtime and they said they would check into it and nothing seemed to come of it. We finally fell asleep after a long day traveling. The next day, the morning staff was more aggressive about taking care of things and moved us to another room which was quiet and had a better view of the gulf. The staff was very nice and attentive. Nice place to stay. Overall, we have a very favorable impression of the resort. We took our kids (12,8 and 6 months) and had a good time.
“Marco Island's Best kids hotel...”
My husband, myself and 2 children (ages 4 and 1) stayed at the Marco Island Marriott hotel and it was a fantastic experience. This hotel definitely caters to families with children. There are so many good things about the hotel especially the pool. It was a great experience. We will definitely be going back in the future. Highly highly recommended!!!
“A no-miss hotel!!”
My third stay at this hotel..Once again an excellent time despite the tropical storm we endured. One item to fix is the bar off the lobby...should not allow children in this area. While I had little ones with me when I first came in 1998, they were not in this area.
“A great place to relax!”
Would definately recommend it. Service is great, everyone is so nice. Pool is gorgeous. Had a great time. Would definitely go back.
“Couple's first time away from kids!”
Our stay was really special. The staff is very friendly. I especially appreciated the conceirge service. Their reccomendations and reservations were spot on and so helpful. I also love how the breakfast servers have nametags which include the country they come from. Very interesting! We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
