Me and wife expected the hotel and room to be a little newer for the price but overall it was a very nice stay and the staff was very nice

The hotel is neat and clean. It's right on the beach. Lots of restaurants close by. An easy place to be.

Its all about weather. If good, you'll love it.

Pros: The location, the sunset over the beach.
Location: Directly across the street is a mall with three restaurants. Marco Prime and DaVinci, run by the same manager, are good. The Fish Market isn't.
This is a nicely maintained and efficiently operated, yet older property. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The concierge was unfailingly helpful and cheerful in getting us tee times for golf. The pool area is nicely maintained and the beach is fabulous. I really couldn't find anything to complain about. There are a fair amount of kids and carriages, as this is definitely a family destination. The little guys get into the elevator and push all the buttons. A trailer below our room contained a noisy, smelly machine. It may have had to do with soil testing that the hotel apologized for in a note, but only after we arrived. We were in a "gulf view" room on the fifth floor, closest to the parking lot. You should ask for one as close to the water as possible.

Nice hotel, fantastic beach

Posted 4-Feb-2015
Pros: Proximity to the beach. Great views. Sunsets over the ocean. Guitarist by the pool. Staff effort. Starbucks in the lobby. Long walks on the beach
Cons: Breakfast and lunch on property are OK .... but dinners are horrible at the Fine Dining restaurant.
Location: Thankfully there are two decent restaurants across the street
Overall the experience was good. We had a suite looking north over the beach, so the vista was the best part. Unfortunately the hotel is a little tired. It needs a face lift. The elevator was very noisy and sounded like it was inside our suite. The Fine Dining restaurant has no ambience and the food was sub-par.

Very nice hotel, On the beach, But beware

My daughter and I spent the weekend at the Hilton on Marco Island, just for a weekend getaway. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn't spend much time at the pool but we did go to the beach and used the hotel's chairs. It was a great option. We also only ate breakfast there one morning. We opted to not partake in the buffet. Ordering off the menu was a better value. That was the only occasion we ate in the hotel aside from the outdoor grill. The grill for lunch was only ok. The one very disappointing thing was that I was charged $10 a day to park my rental car in the hotel parking lot, although I was a registered guest. It would have been $14 a day if I wanted to valet. I think that's rude since there were no other options for parking in the area. I don't think the hotel should be charging registered guests.
