Excellent vacation getaway

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: The beach and overall ambiance.
Cons: The beds for sure.
Location: Excellent restaurants within the area just five minutes away. Highly recommend CJ's Restaurant the food was fabulous and reasonable prices.
The hotel was very nicely remodeled, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing was the mattress needs replacing not as comfortable as others hotels. Other than that everything was outstanding the hotel staff and accommodations. One more thing the fees for umbrella a bit ridiculous after paying for the room and parking at a premium the umbrella 20.00 a day is a bit too much.

Nice hotel close to beach.

Posted 11-Sep-2014
Pros: I liked the balcony and the view from the room and it was close to the beach.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: Really close to the beach. The is a shopping center right across the street with a couple of shops and several restaurants.
I really liked this hotel. My room was on the 4th floor, ocean view with a balcony. The room was a good size, nicely decorated and clean. The view from the room was awesome, overlooking the pool and the ocean.

Niece hotel and beach

Posted 5-Sep-2014
Pros: The room was very comfortable and was larger than most basic hotel rooms.
Cons: The shower was quite large, and modern, but there was a small design flaw-bathroom door grazed the toilet when you opened the door all of the way.
Location: Across the street from the hotel was a courtyard surrounded by several different restaurants - making dining very convenient.
Enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Hilton, however all of the little " extra fees" add up. Parking and umbrellas for the beach should have been free of charge.

Beach.....Beach.....Beach

Posted 31-Aug-2014
Pros: Courteous staff and beach access
Cons: Overall a great stay ....facility could use just a little TLC here and there.
Absolutely the most accommodating and courteous staff anyone could hope for !!!! Great stay!!! Only wish we had tried the spa facilities .....but with abundant sunshine and the beach beckoning ....not a chance !!!! Can't wait to visit again !!!!

Pay the extra few bucks and stay at the marriott

Posted 31-Aug-2014
The room air quality was poor, we ended up with sinus infections. The spa was beautiful BUT the staff rushed all services and encouraged us not to use the facilities. The ONLY bright spot was the hotels room service staff whom shared sincere care and concern for our ailing health.

;Very nice hotel with all you'll need

Posted 28-Aug-2014
Pros: Delviered all it was supposed to
Cons: Don't charge for beach chairs and umbrellas and maybe have at least one alternate dining choice.
Location: Very good locations, near several stores and off site restaurants. Alternate activities all within a reasonable distance from the hotel.
Wanted a quick and pleasant "fun in the sun" vacation with my girls and the Hilton on Marco Island certainly provided it. It's right in the middle of the great Marco beach and has all a hotel should have. Nice pool, helpful and happy staff, great beach wiith more than adequate activities, lovely atmosphere plus you can get to most anything else you might need with a short walk. Downside is that you are charged for their beach chairs and umbrellas, which is confusing and disappointing. Not many choices for dining but we went to relax and enjoy all the beach could provide, not for the dining experience. We got pretty much all we went for, had a really good four days, got great tans and really relaxed... (did I mention that they actually charge extra for beach chairs and umbrellas?). Would gladly go back but might bring my own umbrella!!!

Great Hotel! Wonderful beach is just steps away.

Posted 24-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. You feel very taken care of without feeling that you are being imposed upon.
Cons: If there was one thing that set the mood wrong, it would be the $10.00 charge per day for parking. We felt that this was a bit of a slap in the face.
Location: There is a small strip of shops directly across the street that has a wonderful Ice Cream shop as well as several interesting stores.
We vacation almost yearly to the Gulf Coast of Florida, and The Hilton on Marco Island is one of the best that we have experienced. If you are looking for a packed party place, this may not be for you. If you are looking for an intimate, stress free vacation - this is your hotel.
