"Great stay at the Hotel Oriente."
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was nice and clean. Our room was comfortable and very clean and decorated nicely. Breakfast buffet was great and gave us a good start to our days of walking and visiting the sights. The staff was very helpful with anything that we needed and they were friendly. We liked the location because it was very close to Via Toledo where a lot of activity went on, shops and restaurants all along the street. Also the hotel was very close (just a few minutes away) to several sights. The sights that were a little farther away wasn't a problem either because access to the metro was also convenient. If you don't know how to use the metro, take time to figure it out. It will save you so much in time and walking.

"Cosy Naples hideaway - ideal for local travels"
We used the Palazzo Alabadieri for our final night of a 12 day honeymoon. It was a lovely hotel, tucked away in a cobbled side street in a more desirable district of Naples. Although we were somewhat surprised by the run-down state of Naples this area and specifically this hotel were an ideal place to finish off our honeymoon. The trip to Naples was fundamental in our travels of this region of Italy, and although the city is run down we thoroughly enjoyed the high spots of the city. As I have already alluded to the hotel was located in by far the nicest district of Naples that we visited - fancy restaurants and high-end retail clothing outlets were in abundance in this well kept quarter. The hotel itself was well in keeping with its surrounding level of style, with beautiful decor and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, bedroom comfortable, food very good and general overall impression was great. Thoroughly recommended to anyone travelling to Naples.

"Oasis of calm"
Beautiful, calm and peaceful in one of the few green areas in the city of Naples. It is nestled in an area the city just far away from the madness of Naples, but near enough to get there easily by the hotel shuttle or taxi. The roof terrace was another pleasant area of the hotel to relax in, the internal phone enabling the ordering of snacks and drinks. The terrace views were of Vesuvious and the surrounding Naples area. The food exceeded our expectations as we had been in Italy a week by now and found the choice limited. The hotel restaurant offered a wide choice at a reasonable price. The breakfast comprised of a varied selection of fruit, cereals, sweet pastries and savouries etc. The staff were helpful, courteous and friendly, the majority competent in English. Overall a beautiful, relaxing stay that enabled us to see the sights but relax afterwards away from the madness of the city.

"Naples in a week"
Brilliant for a week stay - could have stayed longer. Just be aware that the traffic never stops or slows down. Fantastic bustling city with plenty to see and do. Beautiful hotel in the old area with good access to the main station (Alibus from airport 4 euros). Well sited for museum, plenty of churches, cathedral, restaurants and bars, shopping, etc. We were able to go to Pompeii on the local train, saving a lot of money on a booked tour. Don't be alarmed by the grafitti - it is everywhere. Apart from the odd beggar we had no problems with anything and everyone was very helpful with our poor italian. We also visited the catacombs (don't miss!) and trekked out to the cimiterie di fontanalles on foot. As a fairly fit couple in our fifties we soon got used to the traffic and many scooters whizzing about and had wonderful coffee and rolls each morning as different cafes. The pavements are quite uneven with many changes in levels so may not be suitable (in the old area) for people with mobility problems. The main shopping area (Via de Toleda) is probably better for that and has all the usual big city shops. We liked the old backstreets with the tourist shops as well as the handy supermarket round the corner from the hotel where we could get a snack for the day. A great eye opener to Neopolitan culture and life lived at high speed.

"Clean and close to town and metro."
Clean, quiet hotel close to town and metro. In keeping with typical European hotels, the lobby, elevator, and rooms are small but clean and in good repair. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Close to metro so it's easy to get around from the hotel.

    Business Hotel Guide in Naples

Standing at the port, watching as millions of dollars’ worth of cargo is brought in and shipped out is a sight to behold. If you’re in Vancouver for business, you’re in good company. The City of Glass is in a poised spot for trade between Asia, America, and others along the Pacific Rim. The busy harbour, which is Canada’s largest port, is a flurried zone of economic progress. The nearby skyscrapers, full of business suits and pencil skirts, blend in with the buzz of the city around them. It’s not uncommon to see important market players talking with partners over tea and fresh seafood enjoying the harbor side view.
