This Napa luxury hotel consists of three buildings featuring 65 guestrooms and one suite, all designed to reflect the refined elegance of the early 1800s. The historic Hatt Building, considered the most luxurious and romantic rooms, captures the spirit of the 1800s with Victorian-style rooms, fireplaces, old fashioned slipper-backed tubs, and décor that hearkens back to the turn of the century.
The contemporary Plaza Building and Embarcadero Building feature rooms with splendid river, Riverbend Performance Plaza and downtown views. These buildings in the Napa luxury hotel consist of Deluxe and Superior Rooms and include fireplaces, river views and some have balconies.

“Fantastic experience”
Absolutely fantastic room with an extremely comfortable bed and enough extra space to comfortably set up a romantic pre-dinner tasting with a bottle of wine from one of our vineyard stops each day. And with Silo's live music and outstanding service located on the facility, who could want for more? It was a truly great experience for us.
“Beautiful hotel, great location”
Terrific location for downtown Napa, can walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. With the river walk finally done, can walk the river. The room was beautiful, the staff wonderful, a local bakery provides breakfast. Am planning to stay here on my next trip

Every thing about our stay in Napa was wonderful and it all started with our Hotel. Great restuarants at the hotel and great ones within a short distance from the hotel. Staff was really great and helpful. An all around great vacation. I will definitly come back to Napa and the Napa River Inn. By the way Great waiters and bartenders at the ANGeLE restuarant.
“Nice hotel, excellent service”
The hotel is located right in Napa, so it's within walking distance of a number of fine restaurants. There's some construction underway in the area which detracts from the hotel's charm. But I still give the experience a 5, and here's why: the service was absolutely extraordinary. My wife and I traveled to Napa from Minnesota and hadn't planned the trip at all. A hotel staffer gave us a detailed itinerary for our day of winery tours and, while we were gone, she set up two dinner reservations and a hot air balloon tour. She even typed up the days' activities for us! Additionally, the breakfast service was very accomodating.
“Very Nice, Great Location”
We really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was so easy to walk to all downtown resturants and other downtown attractions. The Breakfast which is included with your room is brought to you by room service. That was great. The only thing we would of changed was the location of our room, to a more privite, quiter, location.
“Nice accomodations....good restaurants within walking distance”
Nice view of the Napa River.......construction next door to be completed in a few months. This, however, was not a problem. Great dinner at Angele's which is also located in the historic district. Would return to this hotel if visiting in Napa Valley again!
“Wonderful Napa Experience - Plan to Return”
Great and friendly service. Asst. Mgr./Concierge was very helpful in guiding us on local wine tasting and dining recommendations. On site music entertainment was wonderful, again with very friendly managment and staff. Hotel convenient to downtown Napa attractions and the Wine Train - all within walking distance.
“Great place to stay in Napa”
I reserved an executive room here for my wife and I on our first trip to Napa...and it was perfect. The free breakfasts in a basket are great, to the point that we rarely even needed to eat lunch. Each night you get a free wine tasting; the bartender was pleasant and welcoming and the wine was top notch. Being right on the river ensured a quiet stay, and we were only a couple blocks (easy walk) to downtown resturants. The hotel personnel at the desk were great and just improved our stay. The room was very clean and the Koenig coffee maker with Emeril's special coffee was well received. I highly recommend this hotel for couples; it puts you right in the middle of Napa with easy access to H29 and all the wineries and is a great, comfortable stay.

Loved staying there - will definitely return to this hotel next time we are in Napa - everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful and the place is a quaint and wonderful hotel to stay in Napa.
“Comfort and Location”
The River Inn is a well maintained, clean and well located hotel just a few minutes walk from great restaurants and shopping of Napa. With no concerns with the room contact with hotel staff was minimal however pleasant. The hotel has two very fine restaurants a wine bar and bakery of it own that are of a very high standard. A very short walk from the hotel (Right at 3rd street) is the Napa market. Although small it contains a wine and cheese bar that is very extensive and very reasonably priced for tasting, a must.
