“Great Stay”
Hosts were very helpful. Provided a map and recommendations on wineries(including free and discounted tastings). Can walk to downtown Napa. Would stay there again.
“Perfect place to stay in Napa!”
It was our first time in Napa, but it won't be our last! If you are looking for a B&B in Napa, this place is perfect.
“Charmed”
Easy to find, comfy bed, and nicely appointed. We stayed in the Firenze room which is located at end of hall away from others, with its own terrace. Had to leave too early for breakfast but the dining room was elegant and inviting. Great place!
“Great place!”
Good location in downtown Napa, walk to restaurants, etc. A little south of the real "wine country," which is more Yountville/St. Helena, so don't be surprised. But the home is beautiful, the sheets and towels are clean, the hospitality is warm and friendly. 100% satisfied.
“Great base for the wine country”
We just got back from a 3 night stay at the McClelland-Priest B&B Inn. Celeste did a great job of looking after us. She has contacts in many of the wineries and can get tasting fees waived in an extensive number of them. She will help plan your wine tour, pointing out which wineries will waive the fees, just by showing her card. She also hosted wine tastings, free, each evening with excellent wine selections. She pointed us to great restaurants and arranged the reservations for us.
“Very Enjoyable Stay”
This was the first B & B we had ever gone to. It was lovely, very private, and a great location. The owner was very sweet, and a good cook. We would definately go back. If I had to pick one negative thing it would be that the heater in the house (don't know where the control was located) cooked us out of bed in the morning. I would recommend this place
“great B&B”
Excellent location and accommodations with full breakfast each morning. Celeste is knowledgeable about the area and local wineries.
“Great Location”
This location was perfect for us. A short 5 min. walk to downtown Napa meant we did not have to drive to go out. This was our first stay at a b&b so we chose the carriage house that was a separate building in the back yard. Probably not as ornate as in the house but we liked the privacy. We had our own entrance so did not feel like we were bothering anyone when we cam in late at night. The breakfast was good and the receptions in the evening were nice to meet the other guest. All of the wineries recommended recognized the business cards we were given and waived the tasting fees. This saved us a ton of money. Another plus was a local shipping company that comes to the b&b to ship all your wine home. We just had to fill out a shipping slip provided and leave our wine at the house. We went for our 22nd anniversary and had a blast. We would definitely stay there again. Our only regret is that the owner, who we had heard so much about, was on her honeymoon so we did not get to meet her. However, the people she had helping in her absence were wonderful.
“Beautiful home!”
We really enjoyed our stay at the B&B, the owner was really helpful in giving us ideas for wineries, dinner reservations, and overall a comfortable stay. The only drawback was that Napa was very hot (90+ degrees) that weekend and the only A/C in the house was in our room. We would definately go back to this B&B, only on a cooler weekend!
“Great choice for Napa”
This is a very nice place to stay in Napa. The inn is beautiful and within walking distance of everything in downtown. Our hostess treated us to many complimentary and discounted wine tastings in the area and was very known in the area which made us feel very welcome at all of the wineries we visited.
