“Near Napa Valley”
It is a good new hotel and great prize! We used the pool and they have lots of stores around the area. A little far to Napa Valley Main St.
“Great Choice for the Napa Valley!”
This hotel was wonderful! The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. In fact, my travelling companion wants to buy the same bedding for her home! The hotel staff was very nice and informative on the area. Did not use the spa amenities, but had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was very good. There is a lovely pool surrounded on 3 sides by a pond with two lovely swans and a waterfall which made for a very relaxing retreat after a long, hard day of wine tasting! One word of caution. We had a little difficulty finding the hotel because when we booked, it was still called the Gaia. It is now a Doubletree.
“A true surprise”
Perhaps it's the planned conversion to double tree but I expected a mediocre hotel and got 1st rate! Very comfy bed, down comforters, new furniture. They gave us a free drink and $10 off breakfast. Restaurant is FABULOUS. Didn't go into Napa as appetizers and cocktails surprised us. Location isn't great for wine tours and drinking, but for a Friday night to wake up and almost be in Napa, it's perfect!
“Great Napa Valley Hotel”
The Gaia Hotel is located on Rt. 29 at the base of the Napa Valley. The hotel makes a great, not too expensive base for exploring Napa Valley wineries.
“We Liked it!”
Small pool but nice overall. We upgraded our room to one with the lagoon and the swan's were really nice.
“Napa Valley Hotel”
The front desk people were very nice gave us two hot chocolate chips cookies when we checked in. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant food was good. The price was fair and the distance from the wineries was only 6-7 miles. We would stay there again.
“little oasis”
this was a nice hotel just shy of real Napa wine country on one side and 3 miles from Discovery Kingdom on the other. A little pricey for fairly normal hotel amenities but contemporary styling and Leed Gold certified building features made it worth it for me.
“ellene”
this was just perfect for a night stay on the outskirts to napa, not far at all. Very nice staff, rooms very comfortable, would definitely stay again. Unable to use any additional amenities offered due to time constraints. But, would definitely use again.
“great napa vacation”
This is my second stay at this hotel and we will return again. The hotel is very nice and the staff is helpful. It's a short drive to downtown Napa and is convenient to HIghway 29 and the Silverado Trail. This hotel is an amazing value compared to other hotels in the area.
“Très bel hôtel et service chaleureux.”
C'est un très bel hôtel. Il a changé de nom pour DoubleTree. Il y a des Cygnes dans un étang, de tout beauté! La piscine est belle et ils nous acceuillent avec de bons biscuits aux pépites de chocolat tous chauds. La chambre était immense. Nous y étions 5 et c'était parfait.
