“A great stay in Nanaimo”

This hotel was a delightful surprise, located close to the Newcastle Ferry and waterfront promenade. The staff were great, and they loved our dog. We would definately book here again!

“Convenience in Nanaimo”

Check in was fast, room was clean and nice. In the morning, we put up the Do Not Disturb sign, and the housekeepers came up to us in the hallway and asked if we were sure that we didn't need our room cleaned. Everything was as good as expected. We were looking for some travel places, and after inquiring at the front desk, they told us everything that we needed to know.

“Good, inexpensive place to stay. Could have been better in hindsight.”

I had only expected to stay here a couple of nights upon moving to Nanaimo from Ontario but found myself needing almost two weeks of accommodation. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. On the downside, the room was a little small, my particular room did not have air conditioning (although others do) and I requested a fridge which was never supplied to me. They have rooms with kitchenettes which I would have liked had I known they were just down the hall on the first floor and I would not have had to lug all of my things up a couple flights of stairs. I guess I should have asked but it would have been nice had this information been volunteered to me. There is no restaurant but a free breakfast served from 6 to 10am. It consisted of bread and bagels for toasting, muffins, fruit, and cereal.

Clean, comfy, in good condition, exceptionally friendly staff - much, much better than I would have expected for a Travelodge. Area was a little seedy, but not uncomfortably so.

“Nanaimo Travel lodge”

hosts were extremely helpful...room was very clean. Continental breakfast was minimal but okay for on the run. The room was quieter than we thought it would be being it was at a junction with 2 busy roads next to it but we had no problem. The only thing when booking their is an elelvator to the 3rd floor and 1st floor is ground floor but to the second floor it's stairs. For pysically challenged it was a problem for us but they changed our room when we got there. It could of been a problem if the hotel was full.
