“Good budget hotel”

The hotel is located very close to the Shinkansen/JR station. It is very easy to find. Ask for a map in the tourist information in the train station. The location is on the side/exit of the train station where the shinkansen tracks are. This is the opposite site to where the city center is, which makes it a lot cheaper! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but their English was limited. Some staff were ok. Internet access was a problem since I needed wireless and the only have hard-wired LAN in the rooms. There was one computer in the lobby that I could use, but I could not skype. My wife and I had a twin room with two 1m wide beds. That was much better than the small double beds they have. Otherwise the room was small but managable. We stayed four nights. It was quite enough and the air condition/heating worked very well. We were there in January hence we used the heating a little bit but mainly had it switched off, which is of course a lot quiter! If I had to go to Nagoya again for business or pleasure I would stay there again. The price was good.

“Best value on our trip to Japan”

This hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the main JR station and has lots of restaurants nearby. It was the cheapest hotel on our trip to Japan, but clean and had a good hard-wired LAN-internet connection, so great value. Would not hesitate to stay here again if room rates stay the same. Can’t comment on breakfast and other facilities as we didn’t use them. As with most small hotels in Japan do not expect all the staff to speak more than a few words of English.
