“"Will visit again "”
I read just a few negative reviews and was nervous upon arrival but after a short check in and assurance from an expedia rep. that this was a nice place to spend my weekend I was impressed. Elevators were a little slow but service was top notch! Thanks Expedia.
“Would stay again”
We booked this room kind of last minute. Then I read the other reviews. Then I wondered what I had done. When we got to the hotel, they had us in a double with the balcony looking at the next building, with one phone call to the front desk we were immediatley moved to the correct room, king oceanfront balcony.The room was clean, the hotel was clean, it has attached parking garage,which was convenient. The chair in the room was not the greatest,but what do you expect when you are on the beach in a family resort. Im sure there have been plenty of wet children sitting in it from time to time. The air conditioning was great. It worked with no problems. The bed was nice a comfortable. I didnt like the coffee maker, it is the personal kind instead of one with a carafe. The shower was good. It is not the most updated, modern place to stay but for the money, I was impressed. I would def. stay here again.

When I first read some of the reviews I was a little worried about where we would be staying, however, from the time I first walked in I was impressed. Our room was very clean. No complaints there. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is a little to the south of Myrtle so you will not be within walking distance, but it's a convenient location for anywhere you are going on the strand. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again.

“We love the price and the view”
We got oceam view room for half price throug Expedia. For this price, I cannot complain. We stayed 5 days and we had so much fun. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It is not five-star resort but the rooms are modern, and clean. The ocean view is beautiful. We sleep with the balcony door open so we could hear the ocean waves. The beach is not as crowded as the downtown hotels, so I liked that.

We were extremely pleased with our reception at the front desk. The ladies were courteous. "Tammy" lives in the area and she helped immensely with her local knowledge. They also logged our laptop onto their wireless network so we could keep in touch withour boys. We have been visiting Myrtle Beach since the 70s, and this was probably our favorite hotel. The only down side would be the 1/4 mile walk to Damon's Restaurant and Bar. Once there, we enjoyed the good menu. We had about a 30 minute wait (at the bar) for a table. This is the only restaurant in the area, thus the wait. They gave us a pager, and the time we waited was not unreasonable. Definitely staying there on our next visit.
