“Older hotel but well worth the stay. Great views.”
Had a high floor with a great views of the ocean. Unfortunately it was raining, so we weren't able to enjoy all the activities. Room was older but looked freshly painted and was very very clean. I would stay here again. It was also located next to a park and out of the business of the strip. One of the buildings is being completely overhauled. Great place for the price.
“Great place for the money!”
The hotel is very nice! The room was very clean at check in. The only downfall was the building we stayed in had no elevator and we was on the 3rd. floor. This made it a hassle when brining bags up to the room and then packing them back up to leave. Overall though it was a great stay. We will deffanitely return.
“second stay - another great experience!”
This is our second stay at Springmaid and once again had a wonderful experience. We arrived at 2:00 so we were expecting to have to wait to check in but we didn't have to. Our room was great but we were having some issues with the toilet. We called the front desk, someone was there within 10 minutes and had it fixed in no time. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Birthday trip”
I have had mixed results on my trips to Myrtle Beach, but was very pleased with our stay at Springmaid! The room was very clean, the staff was super helpful and the grounds were beautiful. They were doing some upkeep and re-sodding during our stay, but was not inconvenienced by that at all. As a matter of fact, glad to see upkeep being done! Would definitely stay there again. We stayed in the Live Oak building.
“Great place to stay”
The rooms were very nice and very quiet. Unforturnitly it rained our first night and it was raining the next day with no chance of clearing up. So we checked out early and went home, however I will try and make it a point to stay again one of these days in the coming year if possible and bring along some other folks.
“Oceanfront Epicness”
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. No complaints.
“Would stay here again!!!”
My boyfriend and I stayed three nights at the Springmaid Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach. We had a great experience and the hotel was more than we expected for the price we paid! We loved the easy access to the beach and pier and the privacy our room offered. Everything worked in our room- AC, TV, microwave, shower, toilet, iron, and FULL FRIDGE!!! There were plenty of pools for people of all ages and 2 lazy rivers (small but relaxing). It is located in a safe area and is family oriented. Only complaint (if you can call it that) is we asked for our room not to be cleaned daily since we were staying a few days, but it was still cleaned daily. Better to be cleaned a lot than not at all though! We woul def recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again.
“Wonderful experience”
I stayed at the Springmaid for a Girl's Getaway during what was probably one of their peak times (mid-July) and it was absolutely wonderful. I got a great deal, so I was a little leary of what we might be getting into having never been to Myrtle Beach before. I stayed at the Live Oaks building so I can't comment on the other buildings, but Live Oaks just seemed the nicest from what I saw. Yes, the pools are not the greatest, but you don't pay money for an oceanfront hotel just to hangout at the pool The hotel is on the main strip but the pier truly does separate you from all the congestion of the other hotels. There was enough people and action on the Springmaid side of the beach to be interesting, but not the jam packed, can't even hardly move that was on the otherside. The front desk was very helpful and courteous. Because they were booked, we were unable to have a late check out, but they were willing to hold our luggage for the day until our evening flight. I know some resorts that will not do that. The little cafe and store right on the pier was nice. The food was good-nothing fancy- but to eat a hamburger looking right over the ocean was not to be missed!
“nice hotel”
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was easy to find. The room was very clean, the personal were very freindly. The ocean view was very good. I like this hotel, and will return.
“Wonderful Hotel, very clean and well maintained”
