“Pleasantly surprised”
After reading several not so great reviews (after I had already booked the room) I was a little apprehensive. However, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Sea Mist Resort. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the waterpark was great. The only real issue we had was the lack of parking, but the hotel we stayed at in 2008 had the same problem. Overall it was a great trip and I would definitely stay at the Sea Mist Resort again.

“Good For a Short Getaway”
Had a good time. It was nice to be able to get a room on the beach in such short notice. Just wish the water park was open just a little later by the time we checked it was almost time for it to close. So we could not use that part of our stay. Another negative thing about the stay was elevators took forever we were on the sixth floor with a special needs child who has knee problems. We did get to enjoy the indoor pool. The staff was really nice.

it good location and the got many building too bad that time i came it was hurricane coming so we didn't get to go to the water park, but i they said it $3 per person i think it ok for all day
“Best in Myrtle Beach”
First time in Myrtle Beach and thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sea Mist Resort. Would definitely reccommed this place to anyone looking for a place to stay and visit.
“ONE STOP RELAXATION SPOT!!!”
hands down and thumbs up, this will be my vacation destination from now on!!! If it weren't for the fact that we came to see the ocean ...We would never have to leave the comfort of our hotel and its amenities and attractions within itself.
“Will stay here again!”
I really loved this hotel! very clean, on the beach and with easy beach access.Great beach view! Its close to a lot of restaurants, but you will have to drive to the boardwalk. Broadway on the Beach (where all the clubs are at) is about 5 miles away. The price of it was great! Just make sure you book it in advance to get the best deals...... note:book it in advance for great savings! For the price and location, it was perfect. I was looking at other resorts in that area that were about $30-100 more. I'd say I scored big time at Sea Mist.
“Great value”
Simple but large rooms; the hotel in overall is quite old and it needs a bit of upkeeping; however the rooms are clean and confortable as well as economical. The staff very friendly and worth every penny to stay there. I will defintely go back.
“Please try this resort”
I was a little least about the other reviews I read but it was not as they described. We had a wonderful time there, no problems with the room, and a wonderful staff. Please don't let other reviews discourage you from trying this hotel/resort. It is a great place for the money we spent, very well worth it :-)
“accommodating staff”
Staff was very accommodating. Housekeeping did a great job. Front desk staff of our building printed insurance forms for us because we didn't have access to a printer. Everything was very good and we will return. Water park didn't open till Thursday but once we got there, it was very nice and HEATED! Outdoor pool was too cold. Indoor pool was just right. The only thing I didn't like was the sand....it was too fluffy making it difficult to walk.
