“Looking Forward to Next Year”

A very nice place to stay. It was very relaxing and beautiful to look at. We thought there could have been a few more activities for adults after children go to bed.

“Good deal all-around for comfort AND location.”

I thought the quality and comfort of this resort was excellent. The decor was good, and the amenities were nice. But I especially liked the location. It was central to most of the attractions, and not 'right up on the beach', away from the hustle & bustle of the main drag. I highly recommend Harbour Lights.

“Super Value”

We were very satisfied Harbour Lights. The rooms were very clean, large and nicly appointed. Both the indoor and outdoor pool and lazy river were heated and very clean ( although a little small ). We will definetly stay there again .

“Our second stay, even better than the first...”

We originaly stayed at Harbour Lights, which is a Bluegreen timeshare property, 5 years ago. We stay here as renters not as timeshare members. When we checked in we told the staff we were renters and not interested in a timeshare presentation and they never asked again. Very nice. The 2 bedroom condo we stayed in was immaculate. The property and the facilities, including the pool and lazy river, were of equal quality. It was a short 5-10 minute drive to the beach. We loved it at Harbour Lights, will be back, and highly recommend it to other Myrtle Beach visitors.

“Nice place for families”

Nice place for families. Convenient to shopping and golf courses. Our room was a bit smaller than I thought it would be (only one queen bed) but for the price it was fine.

“resort”

Really loved the location of the resort, the layout of the place, but our room had roaches., which managment refeered to them as "palmetta bugs". When maint came up to spray........... they told me that the bugs that I killed and showed them were indeed roaches. Management was not very open to having us come back to try the resort again, or to discount the price of the room we paid for two nights.

“Customer service was horrible”

I have vacationed in Myrtle Beach several times since I was a child and every single trip was excellent except for this one. When I arrived in Myrtle Beach this weekend, When I checked into my room at Harbour Lights I entered a room with 1 bed instead of 2 beds and kitchen. I paid for and reserved the 2 bed room. I went back to the service desk to inform them that they had made a mistake and what I was told was, "Well I dont have any rooms with 2 beds, you can have a cot." This manager was very unprofessional and act as if she really didn't care. I then told her I dont want that and she clicked her computer for about 10 minutes ignoring me, not informing me on whats happening. She never spoke to me again the whole time I was standing there. I reserved the room for two days and she didnt try to reserve a room with 2 beds for the next day. This made me very unhappy and uncomfortable the entire stay in myrtle beach. I will never ever stay at a Harbour Lights Resort ever again.

“Too smoky”

We booked a one-bedroom suite for one night before our beachfront condo week was going to start. We had requested a non-smoking room. When we arrived in the room, it was definitely NOT a non-smoking room. It reeked of smoke and there were ashtrays (clean and empty, but still) laying around. We called the front desk to ask to move to a new room, bu they said there were no more non-smoking rooms available. They offered to bring a fan to our room to help with the smell (it never arrived). Besides the smell, the bed was uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise until very late at night. When we checked out, we were told that there are only ten (10) non-smoking rooms on the entire property (it is quite a large complex). I feel that people making a reservation on Expedia need to know this fact! There is pretty much no way you will get a non-smoking room. The next day, we left as early as we could get our kids ready. When we checked into our other hotel, I had to wash every piece of clothing that we had brought into that smoky room. We all stunk!

“I never come back”

Like time share crap or something is just horrible, no housekeeping if you want you have to pay, the rooms are very small and the bathroom no clean the same with the courtain shower you can see the fongus, plus the second night they stolen our navigation from the car, you can see teenager outside around 2am, totally scary...
