“poor condition, dirty and booked elsewhere”

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was better than this. It appears that the present management has purposely decided that investing any more money into it would be not worth the return. The vacancy rate must have been high - we saw but 3 or 4 other guests and less than that for staff. A full garbage bag was left just outside our door and wasn't picked up until the following day.The room was dirty, the fridge was visibly rusty on the outside and the bathroom had peeling paint. The cover for the air conditioner was falling off, the beds extremely uncomfortable and the rug was extremely worn. I would be surprised if this hotel is still open in 6 months. Horrible conditions and it explains why this hotel was such a bargain. Do you yourself a favor - do not stay here.You will leave wondering what Jurassic type insect attached itself to you or your belongings.
