Pros: The ocean view room, the cost, the handicap accessible shower and the café.
Cons: Just would like the linen changed on the bed when asking for it to be done.
Location: Location was great, we drove 1 hour over to Wilmington to check out another outing.
I took the week before Thanksgiving to be with my mom and my brother for some rest and relaxation. The trip was wonderful. The café of the 3rd floor served breakfast only, but the food was delicious. My mom ate as I haven't seen her eat in years. She loves bacon and it was all you could eat. We sat and ate and had good conversation and I truly enjoyed her company. My brother and I done the same thing the next morning, celebrating his birthday and it was wonderful. The stay was just good all the way around.

Checking in I had to sign a paper stating I would not smoke in the room and this is not an issue as I do not smoke. When we entered the room it smelled like an ashtray. The deck had cigarette burns and black ash on the walls where someone had been extinguishing cigarettes. There were burn stains on the bathroom counter from cigarettes. Notified the front desk and they offered to move us to another room. We declined as we were already late for an appointment and left the deck door open to air the room. Five days after our stay I received an incidental charge on my card for $32. I called and asked why and they removed it but never said why I was charged in the first place. To be so new this resort has been abused and neglected. I suggest staying elsewhere.

Elevator by our room out of service. Pool in our building out of service. Asked to be moved to other building and at first they said yes then called back and said no. Looks good on outside. Resturant was good about all I can say

The hotel is very large and has a lot of pools. There are no bathrooms for the pool area or the beach area. They have gates everywhere making navigating from the parking lots to your room or from the pools to your room feel like a maze. It is very far south and out of the way.

I will never stay in this hotel again. There was three towers. My family and I stayed in tower 1. We walked around. for approximately 15 min. The office is located across the street. There was mold and water spots on the ceiling. There was also a spot on the ceiling that looked like it was a hole and they patched it up.. The furniture was dated & the carpet was nasty. the elevator was to slow all the time.
