“Very nice!”
This is a very nice (and pet friendly) hotel. Our only disappointment was that the indoor/outdoor pool was empty and being repainted for the upcoming season, so our hopes of some fun pool time were dashed. Otherwise, the free breakfast was good, staff was friendly, nice atmosphere. We'll go again! Note, this hotel is a former Holiday Inn (now renovated) located next to the old, closed up Waccamaw Pottery outlet. Nice and quiet, but you can't walk to any attractions - you need a car. The good news is it is only about a mile and a half to great shopping and food at the Coastal Grand Mall. Hotel price was good and worth having to hop in the car to see anything.
“Clarion Hotel was great!”
No problems! Clean, comfortable room; bed was comfortable, bathroom a decent size; we enjoyed the indoor pool, hot breakfast, free wi-fi, intercoastal view from the dining area, and convenient location. We will return to the Clarion.

Easy access from major roads. It's a shame the area used to be growing, but collapsed due to the economy.

Great stay! Only wish the whirpool was open. Wedding party added to the celebration. Pool and hotel was very clean. Nice quiet sleep enjoyment.
“AWESOME!”
The hotel was great! The staff was very friendly, the rooms were SUPER clean. The hot tub was actually hot! The pool and hot tub was never crowded. It was a straight shot to the beach and other attractions. My family and I had a blast! Will continue to book here from now on!
“A Nice Place to Stay”
I did alot of research and determined that Expedia had the best price for this hotel. I looked at the reviews and determined this place was the hotel to stay at at Myrtle Beach. It was only two miles for the Beach and had access to all major highways. It was by far the most economical of all the hotels I researched. The staff was friendly an very helpful. The maid service was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was listed as continental but had hot items as well. Some hotels would have called it a complimentary breakfast not continental. The menu varied each day. With an indoor and outdoor pool and a hot tub it was excellent for my teenager. The hotel has 6 floors and elevators at each end of the building and were easily accessable. There were two computers available for the public as well as a printer. That room was open 24hrs a day. There was plenty of parking space for the 154 rooms here. I would recommend not staying at a hotel on the beach as parking would be limited and a lot of noise from the strip they were on. The beach hotel rates were 2 1/2 times as much as I paid for this Clarion hotel. The lobby has a fountain of water with lights and is an added pleasantry. There were many families staying here as well as business men and women.
“My birthday celebration at the beach!”
The only complaint we had during our stay at the Clarion in Myrtle Beach were regarding the quality of the mattresses...they were way too soft and too small for our comfort. 2 double-sized beds isn't adequate for us as we are accustomed to nothing smaller than a queen size bed. The continental breakfast was very nice and the hotel in all was very pleasing--however the elevators were very slow and often times we had to go to the other end of the hall to take the elevator closest to the hotel lobby as the other elevator was broken/stopped.
“Clarion Review”
The hotel was beautiful and had lots of space. The only thing I found displeasing was the out dated furnishings, carpet, and bathroom decor. Other than that, it was amazing with a balcony view of the lake and swimming pool. The hotel also has an arcade, wow!

Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean... I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.
