Fusing traditional Greek hospitality with the experience of a modern boutique hotel, the Hotel Argo offers its guests a piece of island paradise. Built in the traditional cubic Mykonos style, with smooth-cut glimmering white stone and bright blue windows, the hotel was renovated in 2002 and 2009, its classic Cycladic features kept in tact. Views from the poolside terrace stretch out through flowered fields and white sands to the translucent waters of the Aegean.
The family-friendly hotel is steps from Platis Gialos, one of the island’s most popular beaches. There, guests can relax in style on spacious sun loungers and dine on the airy terrace of our beachfront restaurant Avli tou Thodori. From fresh watermelon tossed with mint and feta to saffron steamed mussels and lamb slow-roasted in stonewear, the regionally diverse menu puts a contemporary spin on classic regional Greek cuisine.
Argo’s 25 guestrooms are each equipped with air conditioning, TV, fridge, radio, in-room safe deposit box and a balcony. Breakfast is served daily at the poolside terrace, and a comfortable minibus is on hand to assist with arrival and departure.
The hotel offers a restaurant. A poolside bar is on site where guests can unwind with a drink. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. High-speed wireless Internet access is complimentary.
This beach hotel also offers an outdoor pool, a library, and a concierge desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle and a ferry terminal shuttle are complimentary for guests. Complimentary parking is available on site. A total renovation of this property was completed in December 2009.

“An excellent choice”
This hotel is excellent. It is located next to the beautiful beach of Platys Gialos, and very close (walking distance) to one of the most cosmopolitan beaches of Mykonos. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and very clean. They are air conditioned, a must for Greece in the summer, while the one I stayed in had a big balcony perfect for spending time in the late evening. The service is great. The owners, a young family are very polite and welcoming. Good breakfast and free towels for the beach. A realy great choice.
“Absolutely fantasitc!!!”
The service is great, all staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is so close to the beach and trasport to town.If we come back we will definately stay here aqain, we absoluetly loved it here!!!
“Lovely place - I would definately go back there”
Location - good. Bus stop into Mykonos town is just down the street, and a bit further is a lovely (if expensive) beach. Don't be afraid of taking the bus - they are comfortable air-conditioned tour buses! Pool - beautiful, with lovely relaxing music played in the background. Room - very clean, minor problem with a smelly (but clean) bathroom which prompted quick action by the staff when mentioned. One of our party of 4 found the bed uncomfortable. Had one of the nicer balconies with 2 lay down lounge chairs and a small table. Free internet was great - but without time limits the 2 computers were very busy. All of us would go back to this hotel - we all enjoyed it.

“Si vous allez à Mykonos...choisissez cet hotel”
Sommes arrivés au port de Mykonos et un employé nous attendait avec un carton indiquant mon nom et il nous a conduit à l'hotel en 10 minutes.Hotel très charmant.Belles chambres au 2è étage avec balcon et chaises lomgues.Il y a des rideaux aux fenêtres,mais en plus,il y a des volets en bois que l'on peut fermer pour avoir plus de noirceur.L'arrêt de bus est de biais à l'hotel.La plage est environ à 150 mètres,ainsi qu'un dépanneur et les restos.Le propriétaire de l'hotel a un restaurant sur le bord de la plage (très bon et pas trop cher) et étant client de l'hotel,on a droit à des chaises longues et un parasol gratuitement.Le réceptionniste de jour était fantastique.Nous a aidé pour changer l'heure de notre vol de retour avec la cie aérienne en les appelant directement.Nous a aussi aidé suite à un petit problème que nous avons eu.Il en fait beaucoup plus que la normale.Il a agit de la même façon avec 3 autres clients dont j'ai personnellement constaté. HOTEL À RECOMMANDER!!!
“Hotel Argo: Simply Excellent.”
Our stay began as 2 nights and extended to 5 nights due to the location, friendliness, helpfulness, and warmth of the family running the Argo. They were simply outstanding people with a fantastic place.

The hotel staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The brother and sister team ensure that your stay is perfect. They were the most hospitable hotel team that we have encountered in our travels. The breakfast is good, the location is great. I hope to return someday.
