“Clean and comfortable beds.”

Our nephew graduated and got married in/near Grand Haven. We couldn't afford more popular chain hotel prices so we decided to give Roadway a try. It was good. It looks outdated on outside but clean. Bob the Mgr. very nice and accomdating. Cleaning staff nice and helpful.

“Good value”

Although this hotel is the older style, it was clean and met all of our needs - plenty of hot water in the shower and all appliances and electronics in good working order. Excellent air conditioning. Bed was comfortable and no bedbugs. We were traveling with another couple with handicap needs so we requested first floor rooms next to each other. That is exactly what we got plus the rooms were close to the office making it even easier. The Staff was friendly and efficient.

“Grand Haven for a wedding”

The Manager, Babu, responded immediately when I asked for more towels. I also asked to change rooms from the road side to the back side of the hotel. I also was able to check in early. The only complaint I have was that the bathroom sink was slow and became plugged up. But I notified the Manager before checking out. Would stay there again.

“Rodeway Inn in Grand Haven, good night sleep.”

Nice room, basic breakfast, manager's family in residence. Ice hard to get to as you have to ask for it at the desk. Probably to cut down on folks using it in their coolers. Fridge and microwave worked quite well. Sink dripped.

“adequate to our needs”

We appreciated the staffs' interest in our comfort. Not luxurious, but we didn't expect or want that level. The location was central to our purpose, visiting friends and conducting some business. Grand Haven is a very nice town and everything we wanted was within close distance to the motel. I had known of the town previously, aware of the tourist-related interests and would recommend the motel for its services and location to the dunes, local events, lake, etc.

“"I'd go back"”

The room was good for the price. It was clean, quiet & comfortable. Nowadays you have to watch for bedbugs so we stripped the beds down to check as soon as we arrived. The bed was clean as well as the rest of the hotel room. The continental breakfast was decent. The location was good.

“Cheap room in 3rd rate motel.”

Carpeting was filthy. WIFI was terribly slow when it did work.

“Lame excuses”

I asked the clerk for a coffee pot so I could make some as we were planning on leaving early in the morning before breakfast. All this person could do was make lame excuses and was not helpful at all.
