“Great time.”

We arrived at the hotel around 10:00 P.M. after a fun filled day at Michigan Adventures. We found the hotel to be very clean and the employees very helpful and friendly. Although we did not have time to swim in the pool it was quite impressive. There is alot of places to eat and you are only a few miles from the board walk.

We had a blast! The pool area was amazing and rooms were clean. Even though the continental breakfast wasn't the greatest it still got the job done. My friends and I plan on going back, again, and again, and again!!!!

This place may not be a 5 star, but it sure works! The pool is amazing, the free breakfast was very yummy, and the desk workers went above and beyond with giving me directions.

Hotel was very clean, 2 minute drive to downtown and the beach, and the continental breakfast was great. I plan on staying again.

“Nice visit to Grand Haven”

The folks at the hotel were very nice and accomodating. Had a nice stay. The bathroom needs to be updated but the rest of the room was comfortable. Would recommend them as a nice option for a stay in the area.

“Needs Updates”

We spent 4 nights in Manistee at Super 8 before going to Days Inn Grand Haven for 2 additional nights... I actually booked the Super 8 through Expedia's discount program (when you find out the name of the hotel only after you book) and I was actually kind of disappointed finding out we're going to spend part of our vacation in a... Super 8! :( I just couldn't wait to move forward to Days Inn in Grand Haven, but once we did... I compared the two and surprisingly I realized that Super 8 was actually... better! Over at Super 8 we had a fridge in the room, ventilation system in the bathroom (yes! it comes very handy!), modern window AC, and... we did not have all these at Days Inn. As location, Days Inn is perfect, close to the beach, right in the center of the awesome Grand Haven, but Days Inn should not count so much on that advantage, they should really consider some updates in the near future!! I really hope they read this and follow the advice. Also, I'd like to mention, the service was similar in both, Super 8 and Days Inn, which was really nice, nothing to complain about, however... for a night at Days Inn we paid double the price we paid for a night at Super 8!! Days Inn does have a pool, Super 8 does not, however... with MI Lake so close, you don't really end up using that pool. We... didn't, actually! So... the conclusion is, Days Inn Grand Haven is getting kind of pricy compared to the lack of updates you find once you step in the room...
