“Great stay!”

Close to State Park, downtown and great restaurants (by car). Staff is very helpful and friendly. Families or couples will enjoy this hotel.

“Convenient to Muskegon”

Very clean, convenient. Continental breakfast had alot of choices. Pool and hot tub were great.

“Beacon Inn”

This was a great motel. We found no deficiencies. The room was clean, spacious and comfortably laid out. They gave us plenty of clean towels each day. The continental breakfast was ample. This motel offers an economic stay in Grand Haven, just a five-minute drive from the beach on Lake Michigan. We really do not have a single complaint. Staff was courteous and non-intrusive.

“Nothing fancy... it works.”

I stayed here alone for a week while attending a conference in Grand Haven. I didn't expect a "luxury" hotel, nor was I looking for one. I wanted something cheap and convenient - and this place met my expectations. The service was a bit lacking... there were several times I waited at the front desk for assistance and nobody was around. The breakfast was very nice each morning - pastries, make-your-own waffles, yogurt, cereal, OJ, bad coffee... that sort of thing. As for the room itself, everything was fine - clean and neat. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, and the pillows too fat & lumpy. :-) But it was quiet and I slept fine. It's a couple miles from the downtown/waterfront area, so you would need a car if that's your destination. There are only B&Bs and condo rentals downtown, but I wanted something cheaper.

“will use again”

The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was located near everything that we wanted to visit. The pool was a little walk from our room (we were located next to the building with the hotel).

“A good value”

We stayed in a courtyard room. The room was very spacious. We had a refrigerator, microwave and dvd player. Breakfast and the pool are in the main building. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance. We plan to go back.

“Grand Haven Visit”

Not been a fan of the Best Western hotel chain, but gave them another try based on the guest reviews and pictures. We were very pleased. Would recommend and will stay again!

“Will try a different Hotel next time we stay in Grand Haven”

Will not reccomened this Hotel to anyone... Dirty, beds hard as rocks (woke every morning to numb arms) smell of cigerette smoke was horrible when this hotel is suppose to be smoke free!!

“Not impressed”

I thought we would have a refrigerator in the room but that was only in rooms in a different building. Interior corrider rooms were 30 dollars more per night. Make sure you read the fine print.

“Poor check in service!”

Our 2 room suit was big but not particularly comfortable. The chairs in the room were very uncomfortable and the wifi did not work. Both of my sons got locked in the stairwell and had to go to the first floor to get out. The vallet was helpful and let us keep our car in the garage after we checked out but were not ready to leave Chicago. That was the one nice service we got, thanks. I wrote a letter to the manager and have not heard a thing. The hotel staff did nothing to make us more comfortable during our long wait for a room.
