We had a lovely stay at the Chedi in Muscat in early April and found it a very relaxing place to stay with family including teenagers. The staff were very friendly and courteous. One suggestion is to improve the atmosphere by arranging some activities and themed nights to engage the guests.

Quiet and peaceful in the hotel. Great landscaping and has zen qualities.l would definitely recommend it if you want to relax. I would also stay here again. Hani took care of us from day one.

This is a very special hotel where you feel looked after to the highest level. The staff are superb and the pools and gardens stunning. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the club facilities. We ate in all the restaurants in the hotel and all were exceptional. Some areas of the bedrooms felt a little tired and the beach was not the most picturesque but this would be the only negative I could find and would not warrant awarding less than 5*

This is a terrific hotel with several restaurants and pools , great service and lots of places to enjoy the sun . The beach is not great and the food is very overpriced but we still enjoyed it .

Still the best hotel I have stayed in, one year on from writing the same after a previous stay. Great facilities, peaceful, fantastic dining options, but what makes the Chedi special is the staff. They really do care and it’s not about being paid to care. It is not family run, but it might as well be. Everyone from the gardeners to the management actually does want to look after you and make your stay special.

A magical stay in Muscat
A simply wonderful stay at The Chedi, the property is beautiful and the staff are just superb, they cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and I would highly recommend the club rooms as the additional extras included are well worth it - limo airport transfers, daily afternoon tea followed by cocktails and canapés plus laundry! The food in the restaurant is of highly quality. Overall, cannot recommend The Chedi Muscat enough!

From the first moment of our arrival we received an excellent service. All the staff was extremely attentive and nice. Especially Husam made us feel very welcome and gave us some insights into the country and the Omani culture. Also Milet and Marvel from the restaurant excelled with their friendliness. Even by the pool we were provided with lots of icy water, our glasses were constantly refilled. We really enjoyed our stay at The Chedi as all our expectations were exceeded. Unsurpassable hospitality!

Incredible stay at the Chedi. From check in to check out, the process was all very smooth and the service from all staff was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here and would hope to stay again. Breakfast was very good too and staff attentive and accommodating. The only downside is there are no lifts to some of the rooms (in line with the theme) but makes it difficult to come up and down. Also no taxis can come for pick up here, have to use hotel taxi.

Considering the hotel's reputation and pricing we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food served at the restaurant, beach pool bar and in-room dining. Generally the hotel felt overpriced for what it is. We had a better experience when visiting the hotel few years ago

Amazing overall experience. Super friendly staff and good service. Atmosphere & surrounding is one of a kind: Chedi par excellence. If one is however looking for a white sandy beach and stone free sea, this is not the place. The 3 pools make up for it at length but to be noted for beach & sea lovers.

Amazing stay in Muscat
Beautiful, sprawling property. Food is delicious. My only comment is that the rooms are a bit dated. There are no USB ports next to the bed. Also the bathroom/shower/sink are completely open to the rest of the room so it is hard to use them without making a lot of noise.
