“5 minute walk from train station, great location”
We were able to walk to all the main tourist spots from this hotel. Their Italian restaurant downstairs was AMAZING! The size of the room was large in comparison to most in Europe. Our room also had a kitchenette, which was unexpected, but nice for breakfast in the morning. Would definitely go back.
“Little Gem”
Comfortable, convenient and good value. Will use again.
“Not fancy, but great deal for low season”
Excelent location (couple of blocks from the main train station), good service and nice breakfast. The washroom is a bit small, but it does come with a little kitchen with microwave and all. Wireless Internet access is another plus. I was on a unit facing back and it was quiet at night.
“Great Location, great room, great service”
While the hotel has a modest exterior, the room was clean, well appointed and modern. Staff were helpful and polite. The included breakfast was sufficient for a modified continental offering. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant was great. The free wireless worked like a charm. The location is reasonably close to the city centre.
“Comfortable and practical”
Hotel very well located -- a 3 minute walk to the main Munich trainstation; 6 minutes to Marientplatz. Room was spacious enough, with fully furnished kitchenette -- good for longer stays -- and a good sized desk. Lots of storage. I had a room facing the street and thought it was quiet enough. Staff was helpful and friendly. With regards to the neighbourhood, it is safe and quiet. It is ok for families too (there is one strip club at the end of the street, but is very discreet -- no sign outside, pictures, neons...only noticed it was there at the end of my stay).
“Great Hotel for a Great Price”
The rooms are newly renovated and include a small kitchenette. The rate was super cheap and the staff are friendly. The internet was finicky when I went, but other than that, the rooms are nice and have a nice TV. The breakfast is small and expensive, so I would recommend going somewhere else. The location is great and is about a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 20 minute walk from Marienplatz, or the main city part. It is a 30 minute drive from the airport though. Overall, I had a really pleasant experience at the hotel and would definitely go back.
“Enjoy Munich”
The room was great and very comfortable, especially since it had a small kitchen. The staff were very helpful.
“Convenient and clean.”
It's a 4 out of 5 star hotel. Near the heart of the downtown, minutes away from the train station. No check in past 10pm, so be aware of that. Not a large room, but average for European standards. Good staff, and clean hotel.
“Great hotel, but...”
The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The only thing we would do differently next time (if booking in the summer) would be to upgrade to a garden view room. You need to keep the windows open 24/7 in the summer and the road noise can be a bit much at night if you're on the street side like we were. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English at the front desk and in the restaurant. The free breakfast was perfect for us with fruit, yogurt, croissants, cheese, ham, cereal, etc. It was also priced well for lunch and dinner with a nice Italian selection of food and wine. The kitchenette had 2 hot plates, a microwave, fridge and pretty much everything you need to do simple meals. Being so close to the main train station was extremely handy. Marienplatz is an easy walk away with lots to see in between. Overall, we were very happy but would definitely recommend a room away from the street if you like to sleep at night.
“A nice small hotel”
A comfortable place to stay. Close to subway station. The service of the nearby Vi Vadi restaurant is not that good.
