Great location, office staff was extremely helpfulPosted 25-Sep-2014
Pros: Staff and location - good value for location
Cons: Entrance and office needs a huge update. Lobby is okay but you don't see that when you walk in.
Location: Train station is very close to you can go just about anywhere in and around Munich very quickly.
As mentioned in title, location was excellent and office staff was extremely helpful. Not an inviting entrance, in fact, it concerned us a bit but the rooms were furnished okay and room was very clean. Good value for money spent in a central hotel in Munich.

Great location - close to HaupbahnofPosted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, kitchen, staff
Cons: Room smelt of smoke - from previous occupant(s) presumably. Looks like the place is being refurbished anyhow
Location: 5 min walk from Haupbahnof the main station - which has reasonably cheap places to eat. 10 min to Karlplatz. Good bar across the road 'Kosmo'
Pleasant and helpful staff. Room had a mini kitchen in it. 10 min walk to KarlPlatz. Good bar across the road. A little noisy if windows open due to traffic on road outside. I would visit again.

Size, price and condition of hotel.Posted 11-Sep-2014
Pros: The staff was friendly.
The room was very small with a tub shower combination that was 3ft by 3ft square and a sink that was very out-dated. Upon entering the hall-way from the elevator to our room the baseboards had been removed and the walls were being replastered and painted. Signs were posted on each of the room doors warning of wet paint ! While the hotels have to update facilities, the rooms on this floor should not have been rented. My major problem is with Expedia for not maintaining better control and supervision of your vendors. And for this awful experience I was charged $ 274.00. It will be very difficult to consider using Expedia again for our yearly travel plans. Thomas Macedo

Super clean and friendly staffPosted 2-Sep-2014
Pros: Cleanliness Updated furniture Friendly staff Close to train station
Cons: The hallway could be repainted.
Location: Close to city center and train station
This was the best hotel experience I've had in years -- staff was really nice and helpful, thinking of small details such as local subway and city maps at check-in. The hotel room including bathroom was incredibly clean -- nothing I've experienced compares to this! It was so fresh and clean, I felt like I was staying at a friend's rather than in a hotel. In addition, the room included a kitchenette, a big plus.

Close to station, well equipped, good use of spacePosted 5-Aug-2014
The Vi Vadi is only a few minutes walk from Munich's main station. The room was clean and well equipped with a small kitchen, desk, 2 chairs, big double bed and an extra bed for my son. The bathroom only had a shower but it was an effective one. Breakfast was located in the hotel's restaurant next door. Only a short walk to Marienplatz.

Close to City CentrePosted 13-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, the services and facilities offered. It has a nice relaxed but professional atmosphere
Cons: Explain the voucher process for breakfast better when checking in.
Location: Close to train station, just a few minutes walk to Munich City and the shopping areas.
Good facilities here and choices. Example...do you eat in the Hotels own restaurant next door, or have room service,or prepare your own meals in your own kitchenette or go out to the City? Also either have the Hotel managed Laundry services ( a bit pricey I have to say ) or do-it-yourself in the Basement Laundry room. Good location close to city centre and transport links. Breakfast good.. the voucher system not properly explained at check in and causes problems at breakfast period in the restuarant when first using it. Nice well appointed rooms.

Convenient location, friendly helpful staffPosted 11-Jul-2014
Vi Vadi was ideally located for us, as we needed to use the main railway station several times during our trip. It was also perfect for the car rental we picked up at the station, as the cars are actually stored in the car park opposite the hotel. The staff were very helpful . Our room was on the street side of the hotel and was quite noisy - we were awoken several times during the night, thanks to noisy drunken revellers. We had a further night at the hotel later on in our trip and managed to get a room on the court side of the hotel, which was much, much better. Rooms are adequate, overal we were happy with the value for mony.
