Centralt placeret hotel

Convenient to the Munich main train station

Posted 16-Jul-2015
Location: Augusteiner Brau is a short walk!
Vi Vadi is in a convenient location near the main train station and all public transport. It is clean and well run but is rather "institutional' looking. We were there on a very hot weekend with no air conditioning in the room. Rooms on the street are very noisy with the windows open. On a second stay, our room on the back side away from the street was much better.

Vi Vadi Hotel

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: centraal gelegen en dichtbij bezienswaardigheden
Cons: Zorg voor airco op kamer
Location: Goede ligging t.o.v. Hauptbahnhof
Goede ligging t.o.v.

Reasonably priced hotel next to Hauptbahnhof

Posted 13-Jul-2015
Nice clean hotel for a reasonable price even in times of conferences/fairs. On one side, the windows open to a busy street, but they are sound proof. If you close the windows, it's quiet.

Very close to major transportation.

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Pros: The location was excellent. It is about a 7 minute walk to the Meinplatz, 5 minutes to the main train station and tour bus pickups.
Cons: A larger bathroom and air conditioning so the windows can be closed at night.
Location: Glockenspiel, Third Reich tour, Haufbrauhaus brewery
This hotel is a 5 minute walk to the main train station with easy access to the airport. The S1 or S8 train go to the airport and take about 45 minutes. This hotel DOES NOT have air conditioning which is a negative for this hotel because if you leave the windows open at night, there is a tremendous amount of traffic and people screaming that make it so noisy you need to decide between cool and sleep, its that bad. Another negative was the EXTREMELY small bathroom. There was no place to put a towel or move. I stubbed my toe on the shower so many times I got nervous to go in the bathroom. The space for a larger bathroom is taken up by a kitchenette in the bedroom which seemed totally unnecessary. What we found out was that most of the rooms are used as apartments and only a few of the rooms are rented out as guest rooms. There are laundry facilities available and the hotel staff was excellent. Don't expect a hotel feel or lobby amenities since it is more or less an apartment building.

Excellent location - 6 min. walk to train station

Hotel was overrated in its recent renovation. Hallway rug & room not as modernized as expected. Bathroom very small with tiny shower. Nice to have kitchen facilities.

Just okay

Posted 8-Jul-2015
I stayed with my family here for three nights. The weather was extremely warm and there is no A/C (typical for Europe?) and a fan was unavailable. The window faced the street and traffic noise was almost intolerable (sirens were going off very frequently). My advice is to ask for a room away from the street.

Pros: Location
It is an ok place to stay for a couple of night. The location is very good for taking train, walking into places. No air condition in the room.
