“Great Munich Hotel”
great place to stay at and easy to drive too. busstop right out frontto catch bus then tram to downtown very quickly
“Nice Hotel”
Once I got my bearings to Munich and figured out how to get to the hotel (I was new to Germany and Munich) I was pleasantly surprised by the service. The hotel even helped me find directions to a place I wanted to visit and use the desk phone to call a local number. The front desk guided me on how to get around the city and which buses to take to get back. In short, I have no reason to complain. The staff did a good job. I will definately go back.
“Excellent value and great location!”
We prefer to stay out of the downtown mess of most European cities - this hotel was very, very good. With a bakery conveniently across the street, one could avoid the pricey 13 Euro/person breakfast and enjoy great food with the kitchenette & refigerator provided. This hotel is situated just outside the 'Ring', so if you have a car, it means easy access to the downtown and easy access to the suburbs and Autobahn if you are travelling elsewhere (but you have bus stops right nearby if you don't have a car). Grocery stores are within driving distance. The staff was quite friendly. The room was a very good size, according to European standards. We would definitely stay there again.
“Great Hotel, Great Price”
You can't beat the hotel for this price. We stayed in cheap hotels in Berlin, Paris and Munich and this was the nicest and most affordable. The shower was large by European standards and they had a mini fridge in the room. I would suggest using the Innsbrecker Ring (can't remember the exact name) U bahn stop to get to the hotel as opposed to the other, it is more convenient and better lite at night.
“Looking forward to going back”
The front desk staff were polite and very helpful. They gave us directions, printed out maps and explained the bus and train system to us. Our room was spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed Munich very much and would definitely go back and stay at this hotel again.
“Clean, Helpful Hotel”
Our recent stay at the NH Munich am Ring was an excellent hotel choice. The pricing was affordable especially when compared to hotels closer to the city center. The staff was friendly, english speaking and helpful with any questions that we had. Getting to/from the hotel was also a breeze with the bus stop just down the block from the hotel with a direct route to the East station on the main train lines. Breakfast was an additional charge but it was a wonderful european breakfast buffet and breakfast seems to not be included with hotel prices in Europe.
“Nice place for nice price.”
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing I can mention is that compared to other NH Hotels I've stayed in the breakfast did not have as much of a variety. Otherwise it has several restaurants nearby and about a 2 mile walk to the city center.
“Extremely Fine Value”
The name may not sound very impressive but the NH Hotel am Ring was easily the best travel value I have ever had. The price through Expedia was excellent(however it did not include the breakfast). While that added to the actual cost it did not detract one bit, as the breakfast buffet and sevice were splendid. It is very conviently located to not only public transport to the city center,the neighborhood (it is in) is quaint and has a few fine establishments of it's own. I'm grateful to Expedia for making this a great start to our trip,so good in fact that we stayed there at the end of our trip! Price was considerably more I may add.
“very good hotel, would stay there again”
This hotel was very clean and quite spacious as european hotels go. It was maybe 100 yards from a bus stop and the staff was always helpful. The bathroom was decent size and the beds were quite comfortable. I would recommend it to others.
“Fantastic”
Hotel location was not very busy but easy access to central and motorway. We spent fantastic time and my wife really loved. If I may mentioned small thing that just a parking during the week. Otherwise it was very good service and we will definately visit again.
