“Very nice hotel”

Nice rooms, easy to get to from the train station, Breakfast was fantastic! Only drama was a misunderstand regarding breakfast being included. The hotel also cut off access to our rooms twice because they had forgotten to ask for a credit card. But in general a very nice experience

“Fantastic hotel, ideally located”

Can't sing the praises of this hotel and its staff enough. Beautiful décor, lovely big rooms, nice sized bathrooms, quality bedlinen, tea and coffee making facilities, free internet in the lobby, nice bar, friendly and helpful staff. Location ideal, just off the main street near to the main train station, perfectly located for accessing U-and S-Bahn and the tram network.

“Rough start but turned out fine”

Hotel was over booked, and we had to stay at another hotel across the street for the first night. Staff was very apologetic and helpful, it's not their fault. I chose this hotel partly because of the great review and also because it has A.C. The surrounding is a typical train station area. There are 3 youth hostels on the same street. We took the Lufthansa Airport bus, the pick-up/drop-off is about 5 minutes walking distance. Room is very clean and large by European Standard. Complementary mini bar is great. Wi-fi is free if you become member of their hotel club.

“Would Like to Go Back”

For a family of wife, husband and two youngsters, some things are very important. They include good & safe location, TV, safe in the room, and big breakfast with long hours. Hotel Mercure provides all of that. It is conveniently situated a few minutes walk away from the old city center. There are many shops and cinema halls nearby. If you want variety, there are plenty of cafes & restaurants to choose from, as well as bakeries & fast food cafes. There are mostly pedestrian streets in the old center, so one can walk leisurely, visit the many churches, listen to the old Glockespiel - Town Clock.

“Definitely 4 star”

Good sized, clean and comfortable rooms. Full bathroom. Only stayed one night but would have stayed longer. Very close to main train station and short walk to town. Very happy with this hotel. Would return.
