After traveling in Europe you soon realize that a lift is a luxury and large rooms nearly never exist but this is the except the rooms were large and there was a small lift. The hotel is very well appointed and the breakfast was pretty good. Location was near the main shopping district with lots of attraction near by.

Nice little hotel close to the action with good parking on the street... However the breakfast was not include in the price and it is not worth the 15e Euro per person. Also when checked in the front desk did mention breakfast however never mentioned a cost....

This hotel is pretty bare bones, but you can't beat the proximity to a neighborhood rather than downtown, as well as the English Garden.

“Fantastic Munich Hotel”

The receptionist was very welcoming upon my check in and throughout my stay. The Parkleaf Hotel is in a wonderful, neighbor-hoody area and very quiet. My room was nice with a big window and spacious bathroom. Everything was as it should be and the staff gave wonderful recommendations from food to pharmacies/ It is located close to an underground stop and about 10min from the center of the city. Price was good but not great,

“OK but not brilliant”

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and found it convenient as not too far away from the old town but not all that near neither. Not much happening around the hotel. Room was quite big for a single but bathroom was tiny and I had to fight with the dreadded shower curtain every day. I had breakfast in the hotel one morning. It was oK but not worth the E12!!! Selection was not that great but service was fine. Not sure I would go back. Not that many facilities in the hotel but quite cheap for Munich so cannot complain too much.

“Great hotel for the money”

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. When I arrived the front desk was very helpful, spoke perfect English and was very accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood and is steps from the English Gardens. If you are staying to be close to Oktoberfest or the party area, this isn't the place for you. But the location is within walking distance to everything and a few blocks from the subway. The room is basic, but for the cost it was what I expected. The place was clean and in good condition.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly. I spent all time in the town and just slept in the hotel. For this mode the hotel is very good for its price. But there is one discomfort thing - no air conditioning. If night is hot, you can have a problem.
