“Clean, secure, nice”
A nice hotel from which to base your stay in Munich. A quiet area, close to the U/S Bahn stop (half a kilometer, not 100m as advertised). The staff was helpful relative to the language barrier. Nice breakfast, nice bar (Paulaner!). I would stay here again.
“Nice hotel, quiet neighborhood, good public transport connections”
I am not very demanding single traveler, so for me this hotel was more then adequate for the 5-night leisure stay. Reception: very helpful, speak English. Room: good size, furniture looks a bit worn, but nothing is falling apart and everything is in working order, liquid soap and shower gel in the bathroom, daily cleaning. Breakfast: buffet-type, choice of German bread rolls, sausages, cheeses, cereals, hot and cold drinks; my only gripe was the lack of vegetables and poor choice of fruits (or may be I was a bit late for them). Surroundings: quiet residential neighborhood, 5 min. walk to U/S-Bahn station (ca.20-30 min. journey to the city center and main attractions), nearby food supermarket, bakeries/cafes, restaurants, bank branches with ATMs, most of them are on the way from the U/S-Bahn station to the hotel. About 20 min walk from the hotel is the PEP shopping center with more places to eat or buy some snacks.
“Very clean and comfortable hotel”
The hotel and rooms wervery clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent.
“Least expensive place we stayed on three week trip”
I liked this place mainly because it was the least expensive place we stayed on our three week trip. There was an in-room "bar" consisting of a mini-frig. I removed the hotel's items and stored food of my own in the frig. The train and bus station is about 5 or 6 blocks, an easy walk. Room was small, but not bad at all. FREE parking on the street.
“Great”
Driving directions could be a little more detailed, but it was worth the "adventure". Everything was wonderful - a very pleasant hotel, easy access to the city on public transportation, great staff!
“Nice for a great price”
I stayed with some colleagues in this hotel after a conference near Munich. Its a bit "out of town" but there are really convenient S-Bahn and Underground services close by. Its a residential area and hence really quiet and save also during the night. The reception staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel also offered this "Breakfast-to-go" (really good price-for-value) which we found very handy for the day we went to see Neuschwanstein Castle, as we had to leave early on a Sunday morning for this. Altogether, for our needs this hotel was perfect!
“GREAT HOTEL FOR TRAVELER ON A BUDGET”
hotel was 400 steps from train station.easy access to public transport.typical european hotel.not big but sufficent and clean.had a room above restaraunt that was a lil noisy from patrons outside smoking til early morn.hotel restaruant good and reasonable.staff friendly and helpful.let me check in at my early arrival.lil coffee shop and stores close by.would recommend and stay there again.had to catch an EARLY train and felt safe walking to station in the early morning alone. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
“A good choice for sightseeing”
Very comfortable, airy, warm and well-kept hotel. Our double room was in excellent condition and made a great base to explore the city. The hotel is a few miles out from the centre of the city, and it is primarily a business area (mostly electronics industries, e.g. Siemens), but Munich transport is superb and there is an S-bahn and U-bahn station only a few hundred metres away, with very regular trains. So travel to the centre was easy (easier still to Ostbahnhof for the airport.) There is a good restaurant attached to the hotel, which we used several times. There are also plenty of shops just around the corner, including a bakery next door which does excellent sit-down breakfasts (in preference to the rather pricey breakfast in the hotel.) We were glad to have brought our travel kettle, however!
“Good deal if you have a car”
The hotel is a modern comfortable hotel just outside historic Salzburg. It is a perfect place to stay if you have a car. It is within 5 minutes of driving from all the things you want to see in Salzburg, because of the driving it is fairly inexpensive, and it is a modern (American-like) hotel -- no cramped rooms or old bathrooms. The staff is helpful and multilingual. The only complaint I have is that our bed was not made up one day, though the bathroom was cleaned and new towels were broughts -- not sure if this is standard in Austria or not. If you have a car, this is the place to stay in Salzburg.
“Good for the Location and the price”
hotel was really clean the room was a little cramped up... there is a Cheurch right next to the hotel so Espect the "BELLS" (yes plural) to go off at 6 sharp!
