“Can't wait to go back.”

This old hotel was recently renovated with bright colorful walls and wall hangings making it a pleasure to walk in. The Manager and Staff were helpful beyond the call of duty. The breakfast was delicious. The location excellent 10 min. walk to train station. The room w/wood floors clean and spacious with sofa to rest after long day of sightseeing and large clean bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel. Two years ago we stayed at a 4 star near the ARTHOTEL and the rooms were so small both of us had trouble getting dressed at the same time. The ARTHOTEL was much more comfortable.

“Very nice place to stay”

We stayed at the Arthotel Munich for only one night while traveling through Germany, but I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was the best we had while in Europe -- lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, bread choices, etc. The staff were friendly and could all speak English. Parking, as usual in big cities, is a challenge, but I was able to park on the street just across from the hotel. If traveling by train, it's only a couple blocks from the station, and it's close to the old city center.

A excellant hotel for the price, central and near the station with a top class breakfast selection. Staff very helpful and replies spoken in English. Enjoyed the stay.

“Good experience at the Arthotel Munich”

A very fine hotel. Centrally located near the train station. Within walking distance to shopping and dining; as well as to the museum district and the Marienplatz. Breakfast was included and was very good.

Funky hotel in a great location, walking distance from the main train station and downtown tourist area, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection and plentiful. Will definately go back.

“Very Pleasant Surprise”

Great value. I would have expected a nice modern hotel like this in a great location to cost about three times what I paid. Of course, I was there off-season (late March). I read another review about a casino nearby being noisy, but that was not my experience. The street was very quite during my three-night stay. Breakfast was including and outstanding - worth about half of what I paid for the hotel!

Excellent hotel just two blocks from statiion, on road easy to find. Helpful staff at reception. Had single room, room, small but adequate and good level of furnishings with desk, safe, wardrobe and large TV . Bathroom well designed with good shower. Room very clean ,with good service of it every day. Breakfast excellent, extensive choice of meat, cheese even smoked salmon, jams and lots of differernt breads and rolls, juices etc with items refurbished constantly so even if t you went it at 9.45 (they starting serving at 7am) there was still the same choice. Been in 5 Star hotels with a worst breakfast choice For the moneya very good value hotel; will stay there again

Excellent location just south of Hauptbahnhof (use station's platform exit to get you to top of street), very well acquitted accommodation.

“Excellent Value for Money”

This hotel is exceptional value for money. I was in Munich on a business trip and wanted a cheap hotel near the station. I didn't have very high expectations because of the price but was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel has just been modernised, it has no character as such and because the it has laminate floor in the rooms and not carpet anywhere it feels a bit "cold and hard" as far as decor goes. It is however clean and the bathroom and bedroom were a good size. The breakfast is excellent. Felt safe as a single women travelling alone. Had my purse stolen in Nuremberg and was stuck without money or credit card - one of the men on reception lent me 20 euros of his own money so I could eat and get back to the airport. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would definately recommend

“Excellent value for money - great hotel”

Although I'd been to Munich on several previous occasions I had never stayed at Arthotel before but will definitely stay there again. There was a warm welcome from the staff who were friendly throughout my stay. The hotel was clean, the service was impeccable and the choice and quality of the food offered on the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is placed about 200m from the main train station so brilliant for shopping, sightseeing etc.
