“Lovely country hotel with good access to Munich airport”

A lovely country hotel outside of the Munich city but still close to Munich airport. The hotel rooms are BIG and well appointed - the bathroom is infact nearly as big as some hotel rooms I have stayed in. The room was extremely comfortable we are disapointed that we had such a short stay arriving late at night and leaving after breakfast the next morning. We booked this hotel as we were due to fly into Munich late at night - it is on the airport side of Munich and reasonably accessable to the autobahns. It was foggy when we got in and we were thankful for our navigation system which got us right to the hotel other wise it might have been a bit tricky. We loved the atmospher and hotel appointments we were disapointed though that we couldnt realy enjoy it due to the brief stay.

“middle of nothing but great hotel”

i was in munich during oktoberfest so everything was booked and what was not was REALLY expensive, mind you i paid much more for this hotel room than what it was worth,but i must sat that my room was huge for european standards, very clean, my own private patio with a table and chairs, excellent breakfast, free parking, as it should be since your in the middle of really nothing, but its not far from the airport and i was leaving that morning so it worked for me,

The Amper Villa Airport Hotel is far from being in the vicinity of the Munich Airport (38 Euro Taxi ride away). However if one has a rental car this is a very nicely appointed Boutique Hotel with a very generous breakfast, and a restaurant that prepares excellent meals for dinner. Its location is in the countryside and across the road from a transport depot but we were not unduly disturbed by the light traffic after hours. The room was large with a sitting area, clean and efficient which is typically German. Internet access was included.
