“Very nice and near airport”
Very nice hotel, great service and very comfortable room. I was very pleased and would definitely go back again.
“Good for Business Near Airport”
5-night stay --Attended a conference at the nearby Airport Hilton -- Residency Hotel was a good alternative to high rates at Hilton -- it was about 10-15 minutes away by car which is about 250 rupees. If you want to be in town, don't stay here unless you are ready for long taxi or train rides back and forth -- but, I was vey satisfied given my agenda. Breakfast buffett every morning was great - staff helpful and friendly -- hotel will arrange car for you to airport or wherever you want to go. Room was good, clean - large screen sat TV -- very nice -- only problem is Internet not available most of my stay - so if you depend on that for work, be careful.
“Couldn't fault The Residency”
We booked the Residency for it's convenient location close to the airport. We arrived in Mumbai in the very early hours of the morning and despite the fact our flight was more than an hour late, we were met by the very comfortable complimentary transfer. We were given a room on the 7th floor and were surprised by spaciuosness of the lovely clean suite. We transferred to a prebooked (more expensive and supposedly better quality) hotel the following day. We wished we hadn't. We cancelled our future booking at the Colaba hotel and re-booked the Residency. Once again our flight was very late and we were again met by the polite and smiling Prassad of the Residency. I have stayed in many hotels in India and have paid a lot more for a lot less than I received at the Residency. Free airport transfer Wonderful soft bed Great complimentary breakfast big, clean bathroom the best masala chai we tasted this trip Wonderful helpful staff The location is not great for sight seeing, but for transiting or if you are prepared to be out of this city, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough
“good value”
Nice clean hotel with helpful staff. We were surprised by it! The rooms are relatively large and quiet considering its proximity to the airport. It is tucked away and our taxi driver did not know where it was at first. We had found directions on the internet from another traveller which was helpful (near the Guru Nanak Gas station, Eagles flight bdg and cine magic). We used a prepaid taxi which was a little cheaper and more convenient than the hotels' own transpot bus. Also the transport bus needs to be booked well in advance - you cant just call from the airport on arrival like in most cities. Breakfast was included in the price - we were careful not to drink the juice or water, eat any of the cut fruit or eat any uncooked or cold foods but had no problems.

Everything about the hotel was great. The room was beautiful and the service was great.
“Great hotel!”
I stayed here for 1 night and was very surprised at the standard of the hotel for the price. The rooms were furnished nicely -clean sheets and bathroom.The hotel is stylish, and pleasing to the eye, although some finishing of fittings here an there could have been tidied up, but these were few and didn't detract from the overall experience, which was impressive. One thing to note - if arriving from the airport, or anywhere else for that matter, please make sure the driver knows the hotel's location. I took a pre-paid taxi from the airport, and the driver took well over an hour to find it, after asking many passers-by of its location. The next day, I went to Juhu beach and needed to return to the hotel to collect my luggage and the same thing happened. I mentioned this to the hotel staff and he said it could be due to work on the metro system, and as a gesture, he provided a free taxi ride to the airport!
“So very impressed!!!”
This was my second stay at this hotel and it was just as good as the first time (which was just terrific on all levels) - staff, service, rooms and food! There really isn't much around the hotel but once in the hotel, it is absolutely wonderful. I have decided to stay there every time I am back in Mumbai. Great value for money!
“OK for one night”
The hotel is functional and adequate. It is very convinient located from the Mumbai international airport and hence reachable within 10 minutes. Perhaps the least expensive hotel in the vicinity. The rooms are adequate. Do not expect any room service before 7:00 am ...peculiar given the number of travellers who have to leave early. The beds are small by western standards as well.
“Hotel tres bien mais situation pas top”
Bonjour, Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel tres sympa et bien tenu. De plus il dispose d'une navette gratuite pour l’aéroport. La chambre est très bien et bien décorée, elle n'a rien a envier aux hôtels Européens. Franchement pour Mumbai c'est un tres bon rapport qualité prix. Deux points négatifs que nous avons constaté: - quand on prend une douche on inonde presque toute la salle de bain en plus le sol est glissant. - le matin avant notre départ nous avons vu une tache sur le drap au niveau des pieds. Le drap avait l'air propre mais une tache fait tache surtout pour un tel hôtel ( je pense que le drap a été lavé mais la tache a résisté au lavage mais c'est inacceptable d'utiliser un tel drap ). La situation n'a rien a voir avec Colaba mais l'avantage c'est qu'il est a 15 mn de l'aeroport.
“Good location for early morning flight from Int'l airport”
The hotel actually was nicer than I thought it would be considering how economical it is compared to other hotels. My only complaint is that the staff were not the friendliest. The front desk staff argued with me on the price for airport transportation (I referenced that they had a cheaper price listed in room than in the lobby and that they should ensure all price points should be consistent.)
