Stayed here for one night with family (2 adults, 1 teen). The hotel is clean, comfortable. Staff is friendly and breakfast was great! The village is idyllic and nice to wander about. Although pricey, it seemed compatible with other hotels nearby.
We went up the Schilthorn the day we arrived, which was a terrific experience. The day we left we went down to Lauterbrunnen and then up to Jungfrau - VERY PRICEY, but again, if the weather is good, an amazing experience.
The room had plenty of towels, shelf space in the bathroom, tissues. The wi-fi was easy.

This is an older property whose rooms are being renovated. We stayed in one of the older rooms (#12) that had a wonderful view of the Eiger and Monch. One issue is that we had a shared bathroom and it was noisy whenever anyone left their room at night to use the bathroom. The meals in the restaurant were good. The hotel is conveniently located beside the BLM train station.

The location of this hotel is incredible and this is what drew us toward it in the first place. Once there, we were greeted and cared for by the owners in such a warm and welcoming way. The room was perfect, the bathroom / shower was great, and the balcony worked out just right to experience the breathtaking views of the mountain and the valley below.

Highly recommend this hotel; hotel facilities, staff, room, food, service were all excellent. Great location, too - views were absolutely incredible!
I have never reviewed anything on line before this, but Hotel Eiger was so wonderful, I wanted to submit this review!
Clean reasonable hotel in beautiful location. Friendly helpful staff.
Parking is not free as Expedia had advised. Also no cars allowed to hotel so you need I use a cable car and travel via this or alternatively by train. Parking cost us CHF 7 approx £5 per night stay. Also cable cars cost us €20 return per person. This was expensive but you are staying in a beautiful part of Switzerland. Room had No ensuite something I didn't realise when I booked. For the amount of money paid I feel this is expensive though. An ensuite should be standard.
Breakfast was very basic bread cheese Yoghurts and juice/ hot drinks. If you want an egg you have to pay CHF 1.5 which is £1 per egg. I think this was so expensive. We have 2 small children and I felt we had more choice at the local bakery less than 2 mins away. They have croissants and breads and coffee. Generally clean and quiet hotel but I would t stay here again.
