“needs improvement”
We stayed here for the year end.. Writing review now after 6 mths. This hotel is a budget hotel - with budget like amenities. Rooms need maintenance. Facets in bathrooms are too old. Expedia mentioned continental breakfast but I had to plead/request and then fight even to get a coffee. The main care taker( A family maintains this) was very rude. the other girls were polite and good and were helpful. Location is close to Shasta. I am still giving 3 stars because the price was decent enough
“Not Impressed”
Very disappointed in this "motel". The pool and hot tub in the advertisement have not been open for some time. The "restaurant" on the premises has also been closed for some time. The bathroom appeared to have come out of the 1960's with the appearance that little upgrades or maintenance have taken place. The one star rating it has should be a half star at best.
“No”
Too close to I-5, trucks and traffic all night long. Nice folks operating the hotel. I could not have taken my wife.
“Very disappointed”
Bed was very uncomfortable Furniture dirty Pool Dry and grounds not maintained No view of Mount Shasta, only the freeway which could be heard in your room; very loud. Air conditioner loud As a result of the above, we did not have a good night sleep. Should have stayed in Mount Shasta.
“creepy looking (like a bad movie scene)”
The hotel was old and musty smelling. The pool was empty and the tiles in it were crumbling. The restaraunt was closed up. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
“The Bates”
View of I5 w/ associated noise. 60,s-70's era decor. Run down. Uncomfortable bed.; Scary-looking heater and electrical.
“Would not go back”
There was a black widow we had to kill and the bathroom was falling apart pretty much. There was only one other person staying there and they placed us in an ejoining room right next to them.
“Ghetto Hotel”
At check in my husband was charged an extra amount for our son (who is 14) When I called the hotel about it I was told many stories and hung up on. Expedia tried to contact and was hung up on and calls not answered. My husband stayed in room 29, the heater did not work the hot water took so long to heat up that they ran out of shower time. The walls in the bathroom were crumbly and missing tiles, and the toliet looked like it came out of the 60's. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It seems like a good price, but not worth it.
