“It's all about location”

We were in for a local bball tournament. Most of the team had stayed closer to the fields but this was the next closest location. From the pics on the website we thought it would be positioned in a commercial area not residential. Interior could use some maintenance but the beds were very comfortable. Welcoming after a full day of baseball.

“It is what it is”

It was everything that I expected or the price. Staff was great guests were noisy, all night. But thats what it's usually like in a cheaper hotel/motel on a Sat night. If I had paid more I'd be a bit pissed at the whole experience, but I am not. This is not a honeymoon retreat or an executive stay over it's a good place to lay your head watch the tub and go to sleep(which I hardly got any of) and it was real close to the event I had to go to at 5AM

“Now I remember why I like to stay at Marriott hotels...”

When I got to the hotel and realized that it was in a sketch neighborhood, I contemplated calling Expedia to see if I could get out of my reservation. I was glad that I had picked up food on the way to the hotel - because there was nothing but a liquor store nearby. In the room, both the sink and the bathtub had standing water. The was a microwave in the room - vintage 1987...and it wasn't even plugged in. In the morning, the first thing that I did was make sure that my car was still in the parking lot and was not damaged. Then, I got ready as quick as I could, because I couldn't wait to get out of there. Big mistake...now I remember why I stopped staying a cheap hotels.
