“Always impressed”

This is a very good motel. It is convenient to I-77 / Mount Airy, NC / Blue Ridge Parkway. Not a "luxury" motel by any stretch of the imagination - but it is a very fine "Best Western" establishment (and that is significant). It is moderate in price, the staff is always nice, the rooms are clean, the pool is always clear and fresh, and they have 2 waffle makers for breakfast time! We have visited several times over the years - and we will visit again!

“Good Choice”

I was pleased with the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. The location was fairly convienent to the areas we were spending our time. Note I had waited until two days before to book it, so the hotel I had planned on using was full. But thanks to Expedia, I found a good place to stay. I would stay there again and I will be using Expedia again. This was my first experience with using the service.

“Love this place!”

Went to Mt. Airy, NC to see family. I had not been to Mt. Airy in 6 years and had never had to stay in a hotel. Not knowing what would be good I looked at other reviews and chose the Best Western. We were not disappointed. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. It was quiet and because of highway access it was very convenient. This will be the place we always stay when we visit.

“Good place for a stopover”

Great place for a stopover. The hotel is about 10 min. from Mt Airy and there isn't much going on in the vicinity of the hotel... which means it's nice and quiet if all you want is a stopover. It's a bit cheaper than other hotels in Mt Airy so definitely fair compensation for not being near the town center. The room itself was very clean, had a nice bathroom with a good shower and decent bed. Free wifi was high quality and password protected. Good breakfast with cereal, muffins, make-it-yourself waffles, etc. Polite, courteous reception staff. Definitely a good place to spend a night.

“very good accomadations”

room was VERY CLEAN and comfortable. It is recently refurbished and quite pleasant. will make this a regular stop on the way north in the summer and south in the winter. The motel restaurant was a bit pricey and did not have a vegetarian menu so we had to go elsewhere for dinner.

We've stayed there several times and will go back for sure! It's got to be the best buy on I-77.

The room was really nice. There was a diner just down the hill 'Southern Cookin' and they delivered to the room for $2.00. Very reasonable and very good! We like the place so much we stayed there on the return trip. Andy of Mayberry was filmed near and they had mementos of the show. I bought some!
