“Hotel was great, service not so much”

We had no problems with our room, it's cleanliness and comfort level was very high. It was the service we received. Sadly it seemed that everyone working the front desk had an attitude, mostly that whatever it was we were asking about wasn't important to them and that the way were planning to do it was ridiculous. We were only ther one night and on the whole it was quite nice and at a great price. I would recommend it to others.

Le personnel très aimable nous à servi un repas tartine(en dehors des heures d'ouverture du restaurant). Je déplore que les clients de passage ne soient pas plus respectueux des tapis de sol. Néanmoins les chambres, lits et linge de toilette étaient impécables.

“I'd Recommend the NH Trier”

We stayed here for two nights and I was pretty impressed with this hotel. It was perfect for our two night stay and in a good location. It is located right off the autobahn and next to the Mosel River. Although dated, the room was clean & spacious. We had a nice river view which we enjoyed every morning. The only problem is that the room doesn't have any A/C. The windows do open up but if you're facing the construction site across the street, it can be noisy during the day. The locatoin is great, only minutes from the main square downtown & Porta Nigra. If you go through the tunnel that's next the hotel, there is a small grocery store located there to purchase snacks & drinks. All in all, we were very satisfied with the hotel and the price was great!

“Nice view if you ignore the traffic”

A lovely view of the Moselle ruined by the traffic on the other edge of the hotel. Not convenient, but not too hard to find; the big turquoise block stands out against the trees. Staff was okay, but getting the bathroom to function properly on a regular basis was tricky. Nice, airy room, but traffic noise was bad when the window was open and still annoying when closed.
