“A nice oasis”

For a 1st time traveler to Moscow, arriving tired from 19 hours of travel through 11 time zones from the west coast of Canada, it was a relief to be able to get to the Novotel Sheremetyevo Airport hotel so easily ... by complimentary shuttle. Novotel being the French answer to Holiday Inn, I would never describe the rooms as luxurious; but there is everything the traveler needs with the possible exception of in-room free internet ... though there are 2 computers in the lobby for free use as long as you don't mind queuing up. As far as I am concerned, the staff made the place ... very efficient & friendly ... good command of English .... one of them who was working the overnight shift till 07h30 went so far as to offer to direct me to the Moscow metro on the shuttle from the hotel @ 08h00 ... going the extra mile in service was greatly appreciated.
