“Excelent hotel in Moscow”
Very good location. Very close to a metro station. Excelent hotel services and a complete breakfast.
“moscow novotel”
The Novotel in Moscow offers everything expected of a business class hotel - spacious, clean rooms, reasonable additional facilities, excellent breakfast and great location right next to Metro station. The view from the top of this relatively recently built building also offers an excellent view of the city
“Pleasant Staff”
I really enjoyed staying here. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and they all were able to speak English very well. They helped me figure out the best route to get to where I needed to go (use the metro in Moscow its easy, fast, and cheap). The breakfast was nice as well. The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that it is expensive to use the slow internet for 20 minutes... but then again your in Moscow, get off the computer and go walk around.
“Lifetime Journey”
We stopped here overnight on our way to Vladivostok Russia. Very nice hotel. Free internet a plus as I am in school and need access to the web.
“Nice place”
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpfull, they speak good english too. Room was very nice and better than the photos. Not to far from red square, maybe 10-15mins walking.
“Good value”
A bit away from the very pricey places in the center of Moscow, the very efficient subway made it easy to get anywhere you needed to be.
“Western Service With Russian Touch”
At 9 am on a Monday two months before my trip, I sent an email to novotel asking for visa assistance and at 10 am, I got the form and the instructions and by the end of the week (and I was the one delaying), I got my invite and voucher and was well on my way. I was treated very well by the staff. They even upgraded me to an executive suite. The room was clean, roomy (for a European hotel), and there was no foul odor on the sheets that is common in most European hotels. You can walk to red square (only about 2km away), but it's far enough from most tourist establishments, which is great as the traktirs in the area do not over charge you like they do in arbatskaya or tverskaya.
“Great Business Hotel”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are almost entirely fluent in English and are trained to be friendly and courteous. Pros: English fluent staff Clean Great buffet breakfast (especially when included with room rate) Concierge and rental car service in hotel right across from Metro station Multiple English channels on TV Cons: Expensive services: Internet usage is 290 rubles for 20 minutes Hotel bar costs are a little exorbitant. I paid close to 8 USD for a tea For travellers, their letter of invitation service was extremely prompt and efficient. (After I e-mailed them in the morning, I had a reply within 3 hours). Also, their processing of documents was literally 24 hours. I would recommend this hotel to any and all whether for business or leisure.
“Good, clean, comfortable, relatively affordable (for Moscow) and central hotel”
This hotel is in my opinion the best hotel in the whole of Moscow if you compare what you get against what you pay. In Moscow there is, still in my opinion, no real correlation between what you pay and the quality you get. You can pay a lot for absolute rubbish, and nothing is ever cheap when it comes to hotels in Moscow. Overpricing unfortunately seems to be an infectious tendency, which in my opinion hurts Moscows tourism as a whole, and definately kills a lot of mye joy of visiting. Novotel is very nice break in the Moscow pricing pattern in this way. Priced almost like in Western Europe (perhaps somewhat higher) and the quality and service is definately up to speed, also by western standards without having to pay ridiculous amounts like in so many other hotels in Moscow. It is very close to the Metro. In fact situated on the very station almost. Nice staff and no trouble with anything. The hotel breakfast is nice and tasty and plenty of restaurants near by. This is my second stay there and Novotel is my first choice in Moscow now really. Will stay there again. Bear in mind that if you prolong your stay during a business week the rates can go up quite much compared to the online prices, for me it was up about 40-50% compared to the online rates, for the last night (the hotel was overbooked but the still managed to squeeze me in-great service!). But hey, my fault for not planning better.
