“Quiet, clean, and reasonably close to central Moscow”
This hotel suited me well. The room was modern - fridge (no coffee making facility), smallish but adequate. The area was quiet but only a few streets away from useful shops (like a supermarket) and ~750m to the nearest metro, or a long but pleasant walk to the Kremlin etc. The breakfast (included) was wonderful and set me up for the whole day so I could skip lunch. My only gripes: Internet access was C$30/day and when I asked for a 90minute late check out they wanted 50% of the full day rate, wheras many hotels might have given that for free - I declined.
“Great option in Moscow: centrally located, not too expensive!!”
The major point of this hotel is that of being almost the only vaguely reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the city centre and tourist sights. You can still expect to pay quite a bit as Moscow is such an expensive city. Mind you: it is a reasonably long walk from the hotel to the Red Square; however, it is pretty close to the Old and New Arbat Streets, which are major streets with lots of commerce, and also within a 5-min walk to Arbatskaya metro station. Quiet neighborhood. The room is small, but comfortable enough for me (as I only stayed in the hotel to sleep), with a TV and a fridge. Breakfast was not too good, but OK. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke good English -- as a female traveling alone and with little knowledge of Russian, their tips were much appreciated! I would definitely stay again at this hotel and would recommend it.
“A very nice hotel”
We stayed at this hotel during our only trip to Moscow, so I don't have anything to compare it to. We would definitely go back to this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, some spoke English, the breakfast bar was very good, the room maid was very charming, and the location was excellent - walking distance to the Kremlin and Red Square and the sights of downtown Moscow.
“An excellent base from which to explore Moscow”
Comfortable hotel in a quiet position and very central: Red Square, for example, is around 25 minutes walk. I found the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very adequate and the food for other meals nice. The room was small but again very adequate with an efficient shower etc.. Good TV. This is an excellent place for those wanting a pleasant base at a reasonable price [for central Moscow].and I was suprised it only apparently had two stars. It would not however suit those requiring luxuries such as room service. I shall certainly revisit it when next in Moscow. It suited me perfectly.
“Nous y retournons dès que possible”
Très propre, conforme à la catégorie. Petit déjeuner sans reproches.
“Great location”
The hotel is in a great locaton, walking dstance to Arbat, Kremlin, Bolshoi Theatre. Great residental neighborhood. Room was small but very clean. Breakfast was good.
“Great location - Embassy District”
Nice hotel in a reasonably convenient location - close to Arbat Street and the metro. Walk to the Kremlin and Red Square. Great breakfast - helpful staff. Room is smaller but sufficient. Fridge in room.
“Good location. Great value.”
Hotel was of a two star category but quite adequate for my needs. It was clean, very comfortable beds, small rooms but cozy. The breakfest wasn't all that great. The staff was very helpful.I would definitely choose this hotel again.
