“Izmailovo Delta”
Well, I stayed from friday to Monday at Izmailovo Delta. So, the location was great for those who want to visit the famous souvenir Sunday market. The metro station is only 5min walking distance from the hotel. The hotel room was clean but the bed quality was really low. I took a business room, two queen beds, but the beds were single beds....really small...the bathroom was with the tub and pretty clean. There was lots of security inside the hotel. You will no be allowed to take the elevator unless you show your room card to the security guy. There were many coffee shops and restaurants inside the hotel. There was also a post office, a hair dresser, a bank, souvenir shops...etc The weirdest thing was that when I asked the receptionist to call for a taxi, she charged me a 100 rub.... The check out time was at 12pm, I asked the courtesy to stay an extra hour , they said yes but with paiment. I refused so I went dowstairs and asked to keep my laggage at the deposit room,,, they asked me for 50rub per laggage per hour.... my God everything was $$$$$$$....crazy for $$$$$.. However, the buffet restaurant was the best choice...very good quality food and a good variety of food... I ate there in the morning and in the evening .I really liked it. In the mean while I do recommend it, I will stay there again for the price, the food and for the cleanisses of the rooms.... the distance to down town city is about half hour by metro...so it is not recommended for families with little kids.
“A very reasonably priced excellent hotel - highly recommended”
We travelled here with our two sons and requested rooms to be within close proximity of one another. On check in we were delighted to find that we had been allocated rooms next door to one another. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the rooms decorated to a high standard. We experienced problems with our pre booked hotel transfer car and were concerned that we would miss our flight but a member of staff at the check in desk arranged a taxi for us and explained to the driver that we had very little time to get to the airport. We made the flight book in with only five minutes to spare and are convinced that without the help of this staff member we would have missed our flight. The traffic in Moscow is very heavy and it can take up to three hours to reach SVO airport by car.
“good, clean, cheap, practical, great location”
Stayed 3 days - first visit to Moscow. - excellent room rate through expedia - front desk wanted to put us in a standard room rather than the 'business' room that we'd reserved. We were referred to an 'agent' at a desk nearby who took about 15 mins to sort this out. - Room/bed/bathroom etc. was clean & practical & looked like it had been recently refurbished - hotel is huge and interesting to explore, as is the weird flea market next door - very handy for Moscow's superb subway system. It's about 4 stops (15 mins) from Red Square. (FYI subway stop for hotel is Partizanskaya not Izmailovskaya) - had a great three days in Moscow altogether
“Moscow Hotel”
really good hotel. english spoken by employees. good location. great price. next time in Moscow, i'm staying here.
“très confortable pour un 3 étoiles”
Very good hotel with high standard. clean, safe and nearby a metro station. drinkable hot and cold water machine on each level.
“Situé en banlieue avec néanmoins quelques centres d'intérêt et proche de Moscou.”
Rien à redire, la totalité des prestations étaient parfaites. La chambre était juste un tout petit peu trop chauffée (>25°C), et nécessitait l'ouverture de la fenetre de façon quasi permanente d'où parfois un peu de bruit extérieur ( sirènes, musique ... ), mais très supportable.
“Good Location”
Great location for the tourist - it is just next to a good market where you can buy virtually anything you can imagine and just a 10 minute walk from the Metro (an impressive station inside). The bed was a bit hard and there was some intial confusion when I checked in (Gamma and Delta are seperate hotels, albeit in the same building) but I thought overall it was a great place to stay and good value.
“good value”
the ismailovo complex has everything one could need all within the hotel, spa, restaurants, cafes, bowling, banking/ATMs, currency exchange, shopping. the metro station is a few minutes walk from the hotel and the metro takes about 15 minutes to reach city center, skipping the traffic. there is a huge park nearby with boat rental and huge market for souvenirs, shopping mall and vodka museum would stay there again, good value for the money
“Very Pleased”
I have only good things to say about Gamma-Delta (there are two hotels and I stayed in Delta). The staff were helpful and although I only asked them a couple of questions they were friendly and helpful and did understand English. I stayed in a Business room so I can only comment on this type - it was very clean and tidy and the bathroom was excellent. The Metro station was 5-8 minutes walk away and from there it was 15-20 minutes to Red Square. The hotel is also next to the Izmaylovo Market that is a good place to pick up a few gifts for family back home. Overall I was happy with the accomodation and location.
“Best service for your dollar...first economy choice hotel for Moscow”
My Russian wife and I stayed here upon our arrival. The metro is about 5 blocks away conveniently localed. The hotel has several restaurants. One of them even offers a buffet at the same price found in American restaurants. The room was clean, the bed sheets were washed and the room was not hot. The hotel staff speaks decent English and were friendly...made us feel welcome. They surely earned my business and it would be my first hotel pick upon my return.
