Great hotel and great rates for Moscow

Many 5 star Hotels around the world do not have such a wonderfully service and personal like Iris Congress in Moscow.
“The 4 star rating is well deserved.”
The hotel is clean, well maintained and the staff are extremely attentive. Online photos of the hotel accurately represent the facility and rooms. The included buffet breakfast offered a nice selection of hot foods, and cereals. If the coffee was changed hourly, it would be perfect. I stayed at the hotel for four nights in early April 2009. I just reserved a room there again, for a full week in June 2009. It is a good value at a great hotel.

I have a very wonderful stay, especially a unforgottable birthday experience in Iris. Although the hotel does not locate in the central city, the shuttle bus is very convienent to the Red Square and metro stations etc. There are shopping malls nearby. We are really satified. If we come back to Moscow someday, Iris is our choice.

“Quiet convenient hotel”
This hotel (accurately described) is located in a quiet neighborhood ~ 9 miles out from city center (~ 1hour by free hotel shuttle at 9 am to 6 Tverskaya St ~ 2 blocks from Red Square and about 20 minutes return on the evening shuttles (3 from downtown at 7pm, 10 pm, and midnight ). Will drop at selected Metro stations on the trip in (metro cheap, easy to navigate, reliable and architecture/art in many stations fascinating). Hotel staff spoke excellent English and attentive. Hotel quiet, clean and very comfortable with a good, varied breakfast buffet; adequate exercise room, sauna and small pool. The free hotel shuttle made the stay outstanding; however you need to plan on staying downtown for the day as there is only 1 shuttle in the morning. The hotel provides helpful instructions on how to navigate the metro and local buses if you do not use the shuttle. Kamergersky St is a pedestrian mall right near the drop off point and has a variety of restaurants with outdoor seating where you can get a coffee etc (the half pint hot chocolate at Le Pain Quotidien is a hoot) while you wait for the shuttle; dont be late for it because it leaves on time although may be late arriving at the pickup spot depending on traffic! The cultural map of Moscow available at the hotel was useful for navigating. 2 days is too short!

“Fantastic Experience”
I had a wonderful time and thought that the hotel is very nice with very friendly staff. It is extremely clean and has a lot of space. The only problem is that it is somehow out of the city centre but this is of course compensated by the fact that there is a free shuttle from the hotel to the city centre.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel overall. The hotel employed a very nice and friendly staff and they provide a taxi for your travel but be prepared to spend a lot of money. Of course, as everyone should know, nothing is cheap in Moscow. Hotel Iris is located approximately 8-9 miles from the "popular" area's of Moscow but I would stay there again if I had to make a choice away from the Red Sqaure and the City Center. Hotel Iris does offer a van that runs at set times during the day to the city center but if you are not familar with Moscow then it is easy to get lost. Check in was easy and they helped with everything that I needed. The food was great and always freshly prepared. I enjoyed the prompt service and friendly attitudes the most. I will be going again.
“The best hotel in the Sheremetievo area”
This is probably the best hotel in the Sheremetievo 2 area. The service and the hotel overall matches american 4 star standart.
