“Great value”

Our family stayed here and saved a bundle compared to the hotels that we could find downtown. It has the basics you would expect, a complimentary coffee pot, TVs with cable. There is free wired internet for one computer, there is one ethernet cable hookup in the living room. The staff were friendly. It is across the street from IGA supermarket and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Getting around

We drove to the neighbourhood beside Cote Vertu metro station each day, using a three day metro pass for each person. It is a quick trip on autoroute 40, with Tim Hortons and McDonalds along the way. We could not park directly at Cote Vertu, because there is a two hour max, even if you pay, so we parked at a side street.

“Great Airport Hotel”

This is an extremely well kept, clean and like-new hotel. The suite room is large, fully equipped and everything in the room works perfectly including the hot water and the bathtub drain. (The reason I said that because I moved here from a 5-star hotel in city center that cost 3 times more, but the hot water wasn't hot enough and my feet had to be soaked in dirty water during shower) The heater/air conditioner is very quiet and the staff is very friendly too. So if you don't mind the airport location, this is a great hotel.

“Would definitely return in the future”

Shuttle bus to & from the hotel/ Trudeau airport was broken but they paid for a taxi both ways. Great service.

For a one night hotel, very nice as it is close to mall and airport.

Area recommendations

For me I was flying out but when you go to Montreal, Old Town is a must. St Joseph's Bascilla, and St Catherine st area are cultural musts also.

Getting there

Tricky to find right exit as everything is in French.

“Pointe Clair visit”

“Great hotel if the people in the next room do not have a dog”

Check in was fine and the room was fine, We found it hard to get to the hotel from the highway and spent ten minutes going around in circles. The only real complaint we had was something that perhaps the hotel could not control. People down the hall from us went out for the evening and left their dog in their room. The dog was unhappy and whined and barked for over three hours. We called the front desk and were told we were not the only people who were complaining and that their hands were tied as there was nothing they could do. We were not offered the opportunity to change rooms.

Area recommendations

The location was fine we just had trouble finding the right entrance to the service road. We wanted to leave early the next day so this was a good location for jumping on the highway

“Good Montreal West Island Option”

Very convenient location for anyone visiting the west island. Also easy access to downtown. We stayed in a King Suite which offered great value and convenience. Our girls slept in the hide-a-bed which they reported "sagged toward the middle" but that was overlooked because we were so close to Fairwiew Mall!
