“Great location!”
This hotel offers a place to sleep in the middle of Montreal. It's in the midst of renovations and has a tacky gift shop in the lobby, but the rooms were large and clean, with huge bathrooms. The location was incredible. A 15 minute walk from Old Montreal and the port, and right on St. CAtherine near all the shopping and awesome restaurants. Everything is within walking distance, especially if you're up for a little exercise. Close to many bars and clubs. I would recommend it.
“Not too bad.”
While this hotel is older and the halls are shabby and the room is small, the staff and location make up for this. The bathroom was new and the bed was clean. The decor was questionable, pink and yellow walls and older green carpet, but the room and bed were clean. It is around the corner from the Metro and staff were very very helpful and pleasant. A good breakfast can be purchased very cheaply. The area is a bit seedy and noisy at night on the weekends but safe. Good value for money. I would return.
“Good value, good location, clean, safe hotel”
The hotel was clean and adequate. The elevator was broken when I arrived and repair men worked for days to repair it. It was finally finished by the 3rd day of my stay. The room was small and the bathroom about the s same size which created a feeling of a lot of space. I felt safe. The room was clean. It wasn't fancy, but it worked. The bed was a bit old, and worn, but not too uncomfortable. Staff was casual and helpful and bilingual (as are most people in Montreal).
“Good for the price”
Location and staff were good. However you get what you paid for, room is very small with no closet or fridge. Room was non-somoking but it smelled like smoke and felt very stuffy. Great if you're on a low budget and only need it to sleep for a couple of nights.
“Great value”
Great for anyone that's traveling alone or with one person
“pour le prix !”
cet hôtel est très bien situé dans Montréal à proximité de beaucoup de lieux touristique. Mais le quartier un peu bruyant le soir. Le personnel est très serviable mais l'état de l'hôtel est à la hauteur du tarif, juste pour dormir ça suffit.
“Good/ok!”
Good for 1 night stay Good location... Good if u just want to sleep, keep your stuff and be out all the time. But if you want to enjoy the hotel stay, this is not advisable!
“It was OK for the price that I paid.”
I think that for the price that I paid, it was OK. At a few metres from the Hotel, it was a bus station with buses which are going downtown.
“Nice staff, location and rate but pipes coughed dirty gross water”
Overall a good hotel, especially for the budget traveller who isn't expecting much but the plumbing here was the pits. Had problems with the water in both my room and the shared bathroom. During my time there it came out yellow, brown and black and once on me in the shower. It would run clean a few seconds later but still it was icky.
“Check to another Hotel!”
The hotel was very noisy, and it was situated in a bad area. I won't recommend this Hotel to anyone.
