“COZY LITTLE HOTEL”
The hotel was very nice and y. It only has like 13 rooms so it feels more like a home than an actual big hotel. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. He even gave us a map of Montreal and showed us a few points of interest that we might want to visit. Overall, I thought the hotel was excellent for the price.
“feels like home”
stayed at this hotel, which actually felt like a small appartment. all the staff were super friendly. close to metro and shopping, great for nightlife. also perfect for travellers coming in by bus, berri uqam is within sight.
“Will definitely book my next stay here!”
Really great location, and David was extremely friendly and helpful. He has a beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms. My room was a bit cold, but the warm comforter on the bed more than made up for it, and I was offered a space heater, but I didn't mind. Quiet area, very close to the Metro. Free wireless was very helpful. The only thing that I found "disappointing" was the breakfast, which seemed to just be coffee and croissants, but considering that I'm not a big breakfast person, I didn't mind too much. There was a mini-fridge in my room which was very helpful, and I kept my own breakfast supplies in it. I had a lovely stay here, and will definitely book my next stay here when I return to Montreal.
“Great Stay!”
This place was great! Friendly gentlemen at the front desk helped me and my girlfriend figure out all the places we wanted to see in the city. Extremely clean, and very charming. Our room had a t.v. d.v.d. player and mini fridge. Great price. Great part of the city, and it was extremely easy to get around.
“Perfect...”
The location was perfect. Just one block up from all the restaurants, bars and clubs on St. Catherine in the Village. I had a basic small room, which was nicely decorated, and the bathroom was very nice as well. The staff was friendly and I actually felt like I was the only one staying there, and that I was their friend. It honestly exceeded my expectations. It was trendy, CLEAN, awesome location and I'm definitely going back for New Year's Eve.
“Cannot wait to go back!”
Hotel owners run and work at the hotel. They are a family and I love supporting the "small business". We own a small jewelery store and appreciate our customers who support us. They were very helpful and friendly. We will go back to this hotel for all our business trips to Montreal. Only one negative for some people...steep staircase to upper floor.
“Best value in town”
very neat and clean hotel. Nicely decorated. Older building and small rooms. Good coffee. Parking was a challenge, this is the only down side I experienced.

“You should stay in this Hotel!”
Nice, clean, well-decorated hotel in a great location. Minutes from the Latin Quarter and the Gay Village. Easy access to the River and Old Montreal as well. I went running in between social engagements and wandering the neighborhoods surrounding the hotel. The quick walk to the subway made my stay even better. Nice, big room with en suite bathroom and TV.
“Loved the Latin Quarter”
Very quaint hotel. The hotel service was wonderful and the location is right next to the metro for easy travel. My boyfriend and I had difficulty at first figuring out parking but we were able to find street parking for our three night stay right on the side street. Make sure to book a medium size room as the small is quite narrow. We were initially placed in the small room for one night because of repairs but we were transfered to the medium room and were very pleased.
