“Almost as good as the former Westin”
I hadn't stayed at this hotel for several years. The last time I was here was when it was still a Westin hotel which was several years ago. I had some concerns that Omni wouldn't match the experience that Westin had offered. Other than a little visibly less staffing, the room, staff courtesy and services were still top notch. I was told that the rooftop pool had been replaced and is now elsewhere in the hotel. I didn't venture to the roof to see what was there now but I remember being able to swim in a heated pool from inside the hotel into the open air duirng a winter evening. Now that was cool - and probably too expensive to maintain. We booked our rooms on a promotional sale so I would say we got fantastic value for money.
“Formerly the Four Seasons.. Fabulous!”
This hotel was beautiful, the service impeccable, and in a wonderful location across from McGill University and a short walk from all of the major attractions in the new Downtown Montreal. Definatley worth staying here!
“Only hotel I would book in Montreal!”
Fabulous hotel, great location for dining, nightlife, shopping, sightseeing, staff most accommodating. I love that they have kept the old victorian style of the rooms, very classy! The best thing is the CD for playing youre own tunes - fabulous idea never seen it at any other hotel; well done!
“A perfect location for downtown activities”
The Omni staff is unfaillingly kind and helpful. The rooms offer views of the mountain or the city and river. The location is ideal for anything you want to do in downtown Montreal. Who could ask for anything more?
“Excellent!”
The staff was very nice and the hotel was very well-kept. We opted to get the package with the buffet breakfast, and it was worth it. I would definitely stay here again!
“one of the best hotels i have ever been in.”
i generally like this hotel a lot. location, service and staff are just perfect.
“Great Hotel”
The place is getting a little worn (ice machines on two floors were not working) but still this is a great place to stay in Montreal with excellent service.
“Excellent choice...cant go wrong”
WE stayed for weeeknd in March, cannot fault anything, large quiet room, clean with comfy chairs and large barhroom. Checkout on the Sunday was 1pm, great. Loads of good places to eat just around the corner from the Hotel on Peel St. ... the (soemthing) Orchid Chinese, best chinese we have ever had and also the sushi restuarnt next door great too.....and a fabulous liitel french cafe (looks tiny from the road) a block down on Peel on the other side of the road. For Breakfast (?Ruebens/Doyles?) diner at Rue St Catherine and Peel junction. Hotel had great gym (large, free 24 hr access) and heated outdoor pool. Hotel great location from Rue St Cath. Highly reccoemnded!
“While the rest of Montreal was Blanketed by Snow, we were swimming OUTDOORS!”
Every single thing about this hotel was awesome from the moment we checked in until the moment we regretfully checked out. The staff was courteous and attentive and even surprised us with a complimentary birthday welcome for my husband!
“I will stay at the Omni next trip too.”
We were greeted my very friendly staff who were eager to help us with any questions or directions. The room was huge, compfortable and clean. It's within walking distance to anywhere downtown and only a 5 min cab ride to the casino. I don't have a single complaint. It was perfect.
