So annoyed that my credit card was charged $100 despite being told it was just for security and it would not be charged, it was. Breakfast (cooked) was exceptionally average - eggs were bland and sausages & bacon were dry and overcooked. Location was good - very walkable downtown, Chinatown and other attractions

Please rest assured that the 100.00 was only a pre-authorization, and no charges were placed on your card. This pre-authorization was released and should return 5-7 business days after the check-out time. This said, it is our hope that you will give us another chance an choose to stay with us again!

I was at this location when it was the Lord Berri. I was so impressed by the renovations and cleanliness of the hotel. The size of the rooms was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s near the subway station, so it’s very convenient. The staff are very friendly. The room is elegant, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities you need are available. Fast internet connectivity.

Great stuff, Mr Anas was super helpful during our checking and provided us with a quick tour of the city on a map 🗺️ suggested good restaurants. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and located in the heart of downtown where everything was within walking distance. I will suggest this hotel to anyone.

Nice vacation
Easy check-in process. Very friendly staff. provided with ideas of things to do while on vacation. Free breakfast. Walking distance from many attractions, bars, stores and entertainments.

I was hesitant to book here because of some of the negative reviews. But overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I'll come back if I'm ever in town again. The staff are nice and helpful, but don't expect the west coast attitude of extreme niceness and pretending from them! The location is awesome, very walkable and close to Berri-UQAM Metro station. Also many shops/restaurants are in walking distance. The room was cozy and nice, but the curtains are kind of short and a bit of cold weather gets in (but still manageable). The breakfast was pleasant and anyone who cooks the bacon, needs a raise! But the hot water container had lukewarm water at all times, making it impossible to make tea. Also, shout out to the Asian young gentleman who worked in the breakfast area, helping guests on the weekend. Unfortunately I forgot his name, but he's definitely an asset to the hotel.

Good choice
Great hotel, a fantastic continental breakfast, my only complaint is that it is a little further from Old Town than I would like. Some of the less physically active in the group struggled walking to all the sights and back.

Really cheap breakfast. They buy packed goods and give it to guests. Room service doesn’t come everyday intentionally. They won’t let you checkout early.

Concerning the early check-out, unfortunately you booked using a pre-paid, non-refundable rate, and although these rates are much cheaper than our regular rate, unfortunately you cannot cancel or shorten the stay.

Excellent location. Steps to big Metro station. Walking distance to the port area, The Latin Quarter. And other Montreal spots. Free breakfast was a nice surprise. Breakfast was respectable. We were expecting a low end Marriott. It was more than we expected. No bar for end of night drink. Plenty of drink spots two blocks away in The Latin Quarter

Front desk staff not very engaging Stood for 5 mins for check in when I was the only one there. 2 staff sitting at the desk and neither look up to at least acknowledge me. Not friendly at all. Besides that, the room was great

We were told the parking fee of $30.00 would cover our 3 night stay when we asked upon arrival. Then we were charged $30 for each night. That was unacceptable! We had to leave to be at another place or I would have fought the charge. Make sure you get it in writing if you’re told the same thing.
