“Very satisfied customer!”
We were really delighted with our experience at the Lord Berri - we chose the hotel because it was centrally situated but very good value for money. We thought it might be rather basic but our room had everything we could have wanted, even an ironing-board and iron! The beds were comfortable, the shower and bath efficient and we had all the towels we needed. Although the hotel has no restaurant there is a very pleasant Italian restaurant immediately next door where one can have any meal - breakfast recommended.
“Very impressed”
great hotel, great location, the only draw back was there was a faint mildew smell in the bathroom
“great place for cheap”
i went to montreal for my birthday and stayed at the lord berri hotel and it was a great deal. it was a great hotel and i would stay there again. the price is great and much lower than you would expect because the service is so good. very close to the metro and st. catherines street and the underground mall. it was a great stay!
“Enjoyable Stay”
I would recommend to other to stay at Hotel Lord Berri during their trips to Montreal. For one, it's well located; it's a walk away from most interesting parts of town for travelers and is very close to a central metro for heading further. The rooms were very reasonably priced for Montreal and what we got--nice, comfortable, clean rooms where everything functioned well. Oh, and I really appreciated how they didn't gouge you for wifi; it was free, which is really useful for U.S. travelers who don't have phone data plans in Canada.
“Great Hotel Location”
The hotel is within wlking distance to the Village, Old Montreal, Chinatown, the Latin Quarter & the Metro. The employees were all very helpful with advise and directions. Next time in Montreal I will stay at the Lord Berri.
“Perfect location”
For the price, the Lord Berri Hotel provided all the comforts and necessities, and the room was bigger than I was expecting. Being less than a block away from a metro stop made it the perfect location. The staff was extremely helpful, too.
“Charming in every way”
I just returned from a 5 night stay at the Lord Berri. I was quite surprised that a 2 1/2 star hotel could be so refined. Since I travel alone, most hotels usually put me into their smallest and least desirable room. But not the Lord Berri. The room they offered me was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and patient with my terrible French. I also liked the location in the heart of the Quartier Latin near so many delightful cafes and restaurants.
“Good place to stay”
The hotel itself was excellent. Very nice room. Comfortable. Service was excellent also. Best was the location. We were able to park our car in the garage and leave it there for 4 days. We were one block from the Berri-UQUAM metro station and used it to go everywehere.
“Very Nice”
We walked from the hotel, up one street to a delightful Italian Restaurant open to the sidewalk. The Metro is a minutes walk away. The front desk was helpful in directions and the hotel dinning was good.
