“Charming Montreal Hotel!!!”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was cute and quaint and the staff was very polite. It was a close walk to Rue St Denis, which in turn means you were within walking distance of much of the Montreal excitement, as well as being close to Vieux Montreal. The breakfast in bed was delightful and much appreciated. They were wonderful about extending my stay as well, which was nice. I would definitely recommend staying here, and look forward to staying there again myself.

Clean & friendly, but not overly fancy. Warm croissants brought to the room for breakfast & free parking were nice extras. Good deal for the price.

“Unique Note”

I love that it isn't formula, but a lovingly restored fin-de-siecle building.The staff are friendly. Location is great, the room large enough and bright. Also a nice stress on environment.

“Centrally located at an excellent price”

Centrally located with free parking, where other places charge close to the 20 dollar mark. I got this place at an unheard of cheap price for a non-hostel environment (no bunk bed, no shared bathroom etc.) through Expedia's unpublished section. Minor issues with the room: blinds a bit beat up and a bit of rust on the electric heater cover in the bathroom. Overall much better than I expected for this price and to me the most important things were there there: a clean bathroom and a clean room in general that is in good condition. Go here if you are looking for an excellent value for downtown location with free parking and wi-fi and are not the usual traveler who expects to pay hostel price with high end expectations.

“Cool place to stay”

Travelled to visit some friends and decided on staying at the Ste. Andre. The room was on the first floor and as expected was small but cozy. But the price is right - it's exactly what your supposed to get. Being out all day, coming back to shower, going out at night, and coming back to sleep - this hotel is perfect. The rooms were clean and perfect for a 2 night stay. It was mid-week and there was some maintenance in the hallways and the water was off for a couple hours. Otherwise the hotel was great - breakfast in bed, informed staff, and comfortable room made my first two days in the city great. I will do it again.

“Great Location and Friendly Staff”

The Hotel le Saint Andre is a great hotel especially for travellers who want to explore Montreal on foot. It's location will allow you to visit most of the attractions by foot or by metro which is a few blocks aways. Don't let the small size of the hotel fool you as it can stand it's own against the many corporate chains. Friendly staff made the stay even more welcoming.

“Great location”

Very good, cheap, clean, with breakfast and parking included, right at St Catherine st. Of course it is not a 5 star hotel, however it is above and beyond comparing with other hotels with the same price. I definitely recommend.

“No complaints here”

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night, at a pretty cheap rate. I was relieved our room turned out to be on the recently-renovated 3rd floor, rather than the shabbier 2nd floor. Room was small, but clean and attractive. Free parking is available at an outdoor lot adjacent to the hotel. It's accessed through a rather narrow alley. A simple breakfast of croissants, bread, coffee and juice was sent to our room in the morning. All in all, a good experience for the cost.

“Not Bad”

This hotel is good if all you need it for is sleeping,bathing and the toilet.It doesn't have many perks so don't look for any.It gives a decent continental breakfast,but again nothing special.The desk staff are friendly and helpful,our first day the guy pulled out a map and told us what was good and how to get there ( and the map too)It's best feature is it's location.It's 30 seconds away from St. Catherine's street which is the only one you need to be close by for all your shopping,dining and club/pub needs.
