Nice hotel near All Points Of Interests !

Posted 25-Nov-2014
Pros: The fact that you were able to choose the time you wanted your Continental Breakfast brought up to your room.
Cons: The one thing that could be improved on is the soundproofing between the rooms.
Location: The hotel is situated on St Andre street half a block south of Sainte-Catherine street, near the Gay Village and all the bars, the shopping.
Even though I was supposed to check-in at 3 p.m., I got there earlier and was welcomed by a courteous clerk at the reception desk that had me checking into my room in no time! Very efficient indeed!

Central location in Montreal

Posted 23-Nov-2014
Pros: Great location and breakfast.
Cons: Two pillows per person.
Location: Central location to the city and there are two subway stations that are close.
This hotel was in a great central location to the city. You could walk either way on St. Catherine and end up at a subway station shortly (either in the Village or the Berri-UQAM). You're also within walking distance to St. Denis street in the Latin Quarter, which is a must if you're visiting the city. The hotel has amazing rates and was very clean. The continental breakfast was delicious and is dropped off at your room door every morning. It was also great having a mini fridge in the room. The only downside is that each person is only given one pillow and when we each asked for a second one we were only given one to share. I don't know if they expected us to switch on and off every hour or what.

Breakfast delivered to room is an excellent idea!

Posted 19-Nov-2014
I was pleasantly surprised! For the rate, room was fine, bathroom very clean, water was hot and nice! Room temperature was great! I will stay there again. Simple for a weekend for those who don't care about luxury and are on a budget. For parking, we just parked on the street with no issues.

Hotel close to Old Port

Posted 12-Nov-2014
This was a hotel close to Old Port where I was attending a wedding reception. It was not new but the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was brought to my room at the appointed hour.

Nice hotel

Posted 11-Nov-2014
It was a nice hotel, not all the staff was friendly though. There is no hotel parking; if you have a car make sure you read the parking signs where you are going to park.

convenient location, friendly staff.

Posted 9-Oct-2014
Pros: close to Berri-Uqam Station in Latin Quarter, easy walk up St Denis, friendly cleaning+front desk staff, across fr grocery+drug store. free WiFi,TV.
Cons: a slight cigarette smell on carpeting in lower floors' hallways. my last night: there was a small mechanical hum that woke me up but forgot to ask why
Location: Berri-Uqam Station: Place Dupuis Exit to go thru food court Daytime Only or St Catherine Exit. lots of dining/coffee on St Cath, St Denis, Amherst
3 nights: very lucky to get a clean corner room (Queen room has bathtub), so excellent day-lighting + enough space for 2 people. enough outlets for re-charging. each brekkie: a warm pc of pre-sliced baguette plus warm croissant, comes w/ peanut butter, jam, butter, honey (i put in coffee), Tea/Cf, juice box. small fridge is handy since IGA Grocery right across street on St Cath has sushi/cold/hot food take out! then i found the food court (lots of choices) beside IGA leads to Berri-Uq Station which was great since it was raining. plus lots of dining choices St Cath, St Denis nearby. room temp perfect as it got cold in MTL in late Sep, has extra blanket in drawer if needed. one front staff was willing to boil water when i needed, thanks !

good price

Posted 1-Oct-2014
Pros: for the price I paid, a positive experience.
Cons: for the price I paid, a positive experience.
Location: great location for getting to the start line of the Montreal Marathon.
Great price for a night's stay. I don't need to live as a royal. Helpful front desk - although there is only 1 computer and the service is slow. Room is clean. Shower has great flow of water. Got a wake-up call. Quiet. Air conditioner works. Storage area after checkout for luggage pick up later. Only complaint is checked in before 3 PM, was allowed access to my room, but returned and could not get back in. Luggage was moved - this was scary as I thought I got robbed. All worked out. If I'm back in Montreal, I would book this hotel again.

Close to downtown, St. Denis and Old Montreal

Posted 22-Sep-2014
The location is near where a lot of homeless people sleep and roam the streets, but that's what a chunk of Montreal is. The staff and convenience of location are perfect, good breakfast delivered to your room. My huge complaint isn't about the hotel, but about Expedia charging me for my stay after the hotel charged me for my stay. Expedia, according to this hotel, should not be taking money from me.
