Perfect location, perfect room, perfect trip!!Posted 3-Mar-2014
Best hotel in the city. A short jump to Bell center and a very short stumble home from crescent street. Staff are very attentive and extremely accomodating. This is where I will be staying from now on.

Construction - Noisy - Attention to detail lackingPosted 2-Mar-2014
Pros: Large rooms, good location, Nespresso machine, friendly bell/valet staff
Cons: Not under the Hotel's control, but should be disclosed before booking: 2 large condo construction projects are underway right next door.
We had a hard time sleeping due to the noise levels. We were in room 508 (executive corner suite) and we were able to hear conversations on the street below. There are also 2 large condo construction projects happening next door which add to the noise level. If you are booking here and are a light sleeper ensure that you are either on a high floor or bring earplugs. Minor issues: Some lack of attention to details including: Empty salt shaker, bathtub faucet broken, orange electrical extension cord used to power the TV in bedroom, bottle opener broken.

Downtown hotel with excellent facilitiesPosted 21-Feb-2014
Pros: Bellmen and concierge service were excellent
Cons: Construction is happening adjacent to the property that is very noisy during the day.
Location: One block off St Catherine street. Easy walking distance to many fine restaurants including Peel St. A few block from the Fine Art Museum.
The Le Crystal is easy to access in the center of the city and has on-site valet parking in a heated garage. Once inside the lobby is up to date with modern furnishing and friendly staff. The restaurant serves excellent meals and the fish severed for lunch was prepared perfectly. While staying at the hotel having the restaurant open until 10 PM proved helpful.

Beautiful hotel steps away from shoppingPosted 3-Feb-2014
Staff was friendly, greated us with smiles. Rooms were clean and inviting. Decor was modern and updated. Location was central with 5minute walks to shopping on St-Catherine St and the Bell Centre.

Under Heavy Construction next door - NoisyPosted 29-Jan-2014
Pros: Nice Hotel
Cons: Be honest with clients about the construction noise from next door.
Location: Good location
The Crystal Hotel is nice, but across the street is a major heavy construction project that starts 07:00 am and runs till 07:30 pm daily. The vibration and noise carries through the whole Crystal Hotel. The hotel staff did not warn us of this problem and on check-out did nothing to satisfy us. We stay in Montreal a few days every month and will not stay at the Crystal for at least two more years as the construction project is being worked on next door.

Excellent ServicePosted 6-Jan-2014
We received excellent service at Le Crystal. My daughter got sick and threw up in the room and there was a gentleman there within 10 minutes to shampoo the carpet and return the room to its original level of cleanliness. The restaurant staff provided a simple bland meal of carrot sticks and bow tie pasta for my daughter while the adults dined on top notch food. The clothing we had cleaned by the concierge came back quickly as well. Room service was also prompt and delicious.

comfortable 4 star hotelPosted 5-Jan-2014
Stuff generally trying there best except on breakfast while we were dining we heard them laughing very loud from the kitchen, bkfst avg, excellent excellent location near bell center 200m, and in downtown.

Expected more.Posted 4-Jan-2014
Location: Great location!
The room we had was very clean and spacious. Although we had a kitchenette, supplies were limited. Our bathroom handle broke off on the first use and the soap shelf inside the shower was literally falling off the side. Some of the staff could have been a little more friendly (valet!!!). I will probably try a different hotel when returning to Montreal as we had an "ok" experience with Hotel Le Crystal.

good location, quite serviceable.Posted 4-Jan-2014
Pros: good location, comfortable bed, great bathroom.
Cons: it looks like it came out of a box, nothing interesting in the decor. It was very comfortable, just boring. The staff were relatively friendly.
Location: close to the Metro, close to rue Ste. Catherine - shopping.
This hotel is fine - clean, good condition, but altogether uninspiring. It would likely appeal to someone travelling on business who doesn't want any surprises.
