“qualité prix”
Pour un hotel de cette catégorie nous avons pour notre argent le personnel est tres gentils et serviables a nos attentes, la cuisine est excellente et c'est tranquille et sécuritaire pour dormir.
“tres bon motel ,sympa, propre”
“Olympic stay.”
It was a nice hotel, right on the freeway, and only a few blocks from a bus stop, ore only a couple hours walk to the Montreal Metro station, which would take you along a bike path along the Saint Lawrence Rive, (with the old Olympic stadium right across the river). The service of the hotel was good, the room was cleaned on a regular basis, and the hotel restaurant provided a wide variety of food: from fish and chips to pizza, to pasta dishes. In spite of the fact there were no nearby amenities, aside from wireless service; the place was fairly busy.
“a good hotel to use as a base for visiting the Montreal area”
Great hotel for the price. Is going through some remodeling, upgrading restaurant and front desk area. Location makes it a little tricky to get to from the Autoroutes. The 24 hour restaurant in the hotel is fantastic and the service is great.
“First Impressions were not so good”
We weren't expecting the best as we had booked around the time of the 2008 Grand Prix in Montreal but our first impressions were very dissappointing for the location. In the end we enjoyed our stay there, it was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I was taken ill and they had to call an ambulance for me. Although it is preferable to have a car there was a bus stop opposite which was very useful, and if you go without your own transport get the 3 day bus pass and 3 day metro pass, very good value
“Hotel catering to truckers/tourbus drivers”
Expected a budget hotel but ALL rooms with 2 beds are on side facing large, bare-earth parking area for trucks/trailers rather than side facing cemetary with landscaping and trees. Hotel on access road right next to large highway that parallels St. Lawrence River. Room was quiet. Low ceiling, very small bath rm ( towel rack so small that fresh towels fell into toilet below; sink in bedrm). Housekeeping very good. L'Express caters to long haul drivers (e.g. lets drivers wash their tour busses). It has a 24-hour restaurant (generous portions, reasonable prices, serves beer). No leasure facilities for families. Small in-house "casino" with gambling machines. Parking convenient to room. Local bus stop right in front of hotel though desk staff not so knowledgable about bus service and inbound stop not so safe with roadwork (6/2010) Jersey barriers making you wait very close to vehicle lane.
“Convenient location, friendly service”
I chose the Hotel Olympique online looking for a reasonably priced, clean motel close to the highway as I was heading to Quebec City in the morning and wanted to avoid Montreal rush hour. Service was very friendly and helpful from assisting me in finding the hotel from downtown Montreal, to offering quick directions back to the highway. The hotel was clean, and quiet.
“Cheap choice, faraway from Montreal, OK choice”
1. very close to the back yard of many 18 wheels, which is not a huge problem: the door is almost sound proof 2. for first floors: you can park your car just outside of your window: good for rainy days 3. calling an outside phone line: kindof painful: you have to call front desk to dial the number for you, no direct line, AND calling Montreal is a LONG-DISTANCE call, because the hotel is not in Montreal, anyway 4. lots of mosquitoes there in Summer, so be prepared 5. room hygeine: OK 6. transportation: the highway is under construction in June 2010, so be prepared for long U-turns and detours in and outside of this hotel 7. price OK, I am waiting for my expedia rebate to my mailbox
“Beau sejour!!!”
Notre sejour a l'Hotel Express fut tres agreable et ce, grace au service courtois et personnalise mais aussi grace a la proprete et au confort des chambres. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute. Merci a toute l'equipe!!! Annie
