“Not up to Howard Johnson's standard”

I was a little unsure about this hotel since it didn't have any reviews but it's a Howard Johnson so I expected a certain level of standard. This motel (yes, not hotel) is actually in the process of being updated to meet Howard Johnson's standard. Rooms were clean but a little smaller than we expected. We had a probelm with a blocked toilet and they quickly changed our rooms. Complimentary breakfast was decent. They serve breakfast and lunch in their restaurant but not dinner. Just something to keep in mind. For the price we paid, I cannot say I am disappointed but because of the fact that it was labeled as Howard Johnson I had higher hopes. Once this place is updated, it may offer a more pleasant experience.

“Not Impressed”

It was SO dirty. We had to lay towels on the floors to walk around or our feet would be black and the smell from whatever cleaner they use was not so pleasant either. The beds were so old, not easy if you have back trouble. I will never recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing was the staff was very nice

“Probably won't use Expedia next time I need to book a hotel”

Had a dismal experience at hotel Lido. Air conditioning pumped out only hot air, even on its coldest setting. Woke up each morning sweating. The people that hung around the hotel were the kind of people who you would normally see in a horror movie. There wasn't even an ice machine in the hotel! Restaurant was sub par. Hotel was located near public transportation, which was probably its only saving attribute. Would have much rather stayed closer to the city for a little more money.

“Howard Johnston Metropolitain E”

Hotel was undergoing a complete renovation.The parking lot was torn up and like an obstacle course,dust and construction material everywhere.Check this place out before you book.
