Pros: Getting checked out of there
Cons: I feel bad for the hotel because it is not there fault things are like this. They said "you just get used to it".
Location: LOTS of restaurants, but we were worried to walk back at night.
Drug infested neighborhood. The druggies begging for money did not make me feel like I wanted to walk outside. We went to the McDonalds across the street and a couple were in there yelling and FINALLY someone called the police. They came and took them outside. Inside was a old homeless lady talking to herself. I felt like I was sleeping in the getto. This was supposed to be a 4 star hotel. The hotels Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn etc were just as nice.I actually took off my jewelry to walk down the street.

This used to be a better hotel, but over the yearsPosted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Location. Staff were generally good
Location: Fine. Close to both the gay village and place des Arts, where we had planned to spend time.
Complementary continental breakfast was disappointing; we chose to eat elsewhere. Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, though we requested a non-smoking room. Washroom needs an overhaul. Chambermaid accidentally (let's presume) removed a loofah cloth.

Excellent locationPosted 20-Jul-2014
A conveniently centreville area located hotel. Next to a metro/subway stop, busses and major highways. Paid parking connected to the hotel is a plus. (19.00CD) Short walk to malls and cultural arts convention centers and Chinatown. Room kinda outdated but maintained. Went to check the pool but was closed bet (12-5pm) :(

Good enoughPosted 19-Jul-2014
Cons: Wifi TV Movie channel
Location: Gay Village Vibrant part of downtown.
Good location. Wifi fair to poor. View was an office building next door. Pay per view Movie channel on TV didn't work. For just a place to stay though, it was fine.

Pros: Location to activities and restaurants, pool and sauna
Maid service was inadaquate. I reserved the room for 3 persons and was only given towels for 2. I don't feel I need to call to request additional supplies when the reservation was made for 3 people. I requested a wine glass from the bar to bring up to my room so I could enjoy a glass of wine with my wife. They refused my request and said it was against their policy to allow glasses from the bar to be taken up to the rooms. Bartender said glasses get stolen. Just what I need; a wine glass from Montreal to take home!!!

great service at the hotel!Posted 15-Jul-2014
it is an older hotel, but the service was warm and gracious, from the front desk staff to housekeeping, to maintenance.

Good overall hotelPosted 11-Jul-2014
Location is convenient. It's only minutes away from Berri-Uqam station. Lots of restaurants, nightlife and attractions nearby. It's about a 10 minute drive to Old Montreal. Staffs are helpful and friendly and respond promptly. I remember the hair dryer wasn't working and they came to fix it 5 minutes after I called front desk. The conditions of the hotel is a bit old though. All the electrical outlets seems to have have a crack in it. Parking is of reasonable rate.

In town for F1 close to subway, close to amenitiesPosted 9-Jul-2014
Cons: Check in and out
Location: Shops and restaurants
Could have used more people at check in and check out, especially as they were busy for the race.
